finally!
editI would have written this myself a long time ago if I could figure out how to start a new article. Where's the button??? Zeng8r 19:53, 31 October 2007 (UTC)
It will ask you if you want to start an article if you click on a red link. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Vmanteiga (talk • contribs) 22:17, 1 November 2007 (UTC)
Variations on this dish?
editIt's interesting to see what is considered a "real" deviled crab. Up here in North Carolina a deviled crab always involves stuffing the mixture back into a crab shell before cooking. -MalkavianX (talk) 14:46, 26 November 2008 (UTC)
- There is definitely a different dish with the same name that seems to have originated in the mid-Atlantic US. Why don't you find some sources and add it to the article? Zeng8r (talk) 15:50, 26 November 2008 (UTC)
- Somebody finally added some info on the "other" deviled crab. Now all we need is a photo... Zeng8r (talk) 21:15, 5 August 2012 (UTC)
Photo removal
editI removed the photo of the advertising sign (again) as it's right on the borderline of being promotional. There are many other places to get a good croquetta around Tampa, including a few up and down 7th Avenue from where the photo in question was taken. It's not appropriate to have the name of just one of those places prominently displayed in the article as if it's the best or the only choice.
The image was useful for showing what a deviled crab looks like. Now that we have a photo of the actual dish, it's no longer needed. Zeng8r (talk) 15:54, 11 March 2012 (UTC)
