Relevance of other shows

edit

Why the mention of "After disappointing ratings for Psychic at Large and Sci Fi Investigates"? The type of show may be similar, but nothing in the text connects them to this show. -- SEWilco (talk) 01:39, 19 August 2009 (UTC)Reply

I guess the review is a bit dated as no one really remembers the relation that they were all Wednesday night paranormal shows. I originally mentioned them because SciFi began running other paranormal shows to accompany Ghost Hunters, but unlike Destination Truth these shows never made it. If you remember Proof Positive (ran half a season), Psychic at Large (which was really boring and canceled after like 2 episodes) and Sci Fi Investigates (interesting show IMO, too bad it was canceled, I think it had potential). They also tried UFO Hunters which ran 1 episode and was dropped - (probably because of conflict with History Channel's UFO Hunters). Recently they tried Unexplained with George Noory and that bombed completely. Anyway, Destination Truth came along and was much more successful - at least it was renewed for more than one season. 2nd Yeti Episode

edit

Someone has changed the title of the second Yeti episode from "Yeti 2: Return to Nepal" to "The Bhutan Yeti". Until the new title can be sourced, I'm changing it back to the title in use with IMDb. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 75.76.70.49 (talk) 03:15, 19 November 2009 (UTC)Reply

Update viewer rating

edit

Can someone please update the "Ratings" section with this info? Thanks.

When season 3 continued on March 17, 2010, the show received its best premiere rating, with 2.2 million viewers.[1]

I think this article needs to be cited with more second- or third-party sources other than TV by the Numbers. serioushat 07:33, 23 April 2010 (UTC)Reply

Travel Channel

edit

Travel Channel is broadcasting the show. It is branded as Josh Gates' Destination Truth. Here is an article about it. Here is the official site. Shouldn't that be included on this page? Charlotte Allison (Morriswa) (talk) 01:15, 20 May 2017 (UTC)Reply
