a ) Box office $64,300,000 <---- its in €! b ) The title is a rhyme. So in English too. Not Manitou's Shoe -> The Shoe of Manitou. Why? Germans would say correctly also Manitus Schuh and never 'Der Schuh des Manitou'. Its the same like in the Movie 'Lord of War' with Warlord and Lord of War. How can anyone talk about Der Schuh des Manitu and never mention Karl May?!? Generations (of boys anyway) grew up reading the novels where the perfect hero – whom the author pretended to be himself – and his unbelievably noble Apache* blood brother Winnetou live through countless adventures, fighting for good and against evil using their superhuman shooting and general fighting skills? Those books were crying for a parody, and Herbig finally made one.

* The alleged Apaches live in teepees anyway. May had access to resources about their language, but apparently not anything else.

I'll need to fix this, hopefully on the weekend. I'm a native speaker of German and read plenty of my grandpa's Karl May novels.
