If he's captain of the under 20 side, why is he not in the under 20 world cup squad?

– Don't know as much about the other three, but the youngest one is definitely more commonly solely by his first name. But if the youngest one was to be moved then it would make sense for the other three too match, no? "Denílson Pereira Neves" gets less than 150,000 results. • Oppose year of birth should be a last resort for disambiguation, if there is a better way we should use it. PatGallacher (talk) 20:59, 8 June 2013 (UTC)Reply
  • Oppose; why do we need to add our own disambiguating suffixes, when they all have unique names already? bobrayner (talk) 17:06, 9 June 2013 (UTC)Reply
  • Oppose seems quite pointless to rely on artificial dabs when the players' names already provide the natural disambiguation. -- Ohc ¡digame!¿que pasa? 06:19, 13 June 2013 (UTC)Reply
  • Strong support per WP:COMMONNAME. Like many Brazilian footballers, these four are mononymous people. Their other names are not well known. This is the opposite of the logical moves we've been making in hockey names, where obscure middle names thrown in for disambiguating purposes are being abandoned for birth years. We have to ask ourselves whether readers will more likely know these people's surnames or birth years. For me, the names are meaningless, but I'd know that "born 1988" indicates a current player, that "born 1943" is not my guy if I'm looking up someone I just read in a match report. WP:NATURAL is all well and good except when it results in titles that don't actually help readers distinguish between articles. --BDD (talk) 05:46, 18 June 2013 (UTC)Reply
  • Oppose WP:COMMONNAME isn't for this. In ictu oculi (talk) 16:33, 27 June 2013 (UTC)Reply
Ok, how about WP:STAGENAME then? --BDD (talk) 20:17, 27 June 2013 (UTC)Reply
