White Ethiopians edit
"White people are born of Italian, Greek, African American, Swedish, Jamaican and Armenian descent. White Ethiopians live in Addis Ababa, Dire Dawa, and other various locales."
How old is this term 'White Ethiopian'? Who came up with it first and for what purposes? It would be nice if the section gave some context. Also, there is no reference given in this section at all. 2001:1C00:1E31:5F00:587F:53CD:166F:DECB (talk) 13:16, 27 February 2021 (UTC)
- I agree. For now, I will slap a "citation needed" tag to this statement. If nothing comes forward in a reasonable time, the statement should be deleted. Landroving Linguist (talk) 10:40, 28 February 2021 (UTC)
- Very strange wording in that phrase. "White people=> African American, Jamaican descent"?
- "AFRICAN American" by its very description is NOT "White" by ANY definition. And "Jamaican" implies Black Descent, as the tiny number of "Whites" from there are basically "English/British"
- Sadly, there hasn't been a census in 15 years (2007-2022). and the vital statistics (births/deaths) chart states the values are all estimates.

- There could be 60 million in Ethiopia, there could already be 200 million there. We don't know and can't know without an actual head count! for all the aid money sent to such countries, the least they could do is arrange a 10 yr or 20 yr census and be CONSISTANT about it!
- And one of the "Italian-Ethiopian" citations linked to a site talking about Mixed Race (eg; BLACK) descendants, not the actual White diaspora living there. While the other link was dead.69.204.89.52 (talk) 02:45, 18 November 2022 (UTC)
