Religion edit

I see that the population of 'mountain Jews' is 20k-50k, which would be 0.2%-0.5% of the population. But they are not listed in the religions of Azerbaijan, and other is at <0.1%. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Golden Eternity (talkcontribs) 01:17, 12 December 2020 (UTC)Reply

Edit war edit

@LOyaro you don't seem to understand the issue. This article is not about the political status of Artsakh. This is an article about demographics of Azerbaijan. Azerbaijan regards Nagorno-Karabakh as its own territory, thus the population statistics of the region is mentioned here. For reference, see articles [Demographics of Georgia (country)] and [Demographics of China], which also includes territories outside of these countries' control. You keep saying "the political status is not settled" and use it as an argument, but according to this logic, there should not be separate article on the demographics of Artsakh as well. --Mastersun25 (talk) 15:08, 28 May 2021 (UTC)Reply

Nobody even mentioned that they were or should be citizens of Azerbaijan, they are not (at least at the moment). Also, your edits destroy the whole structure of the article, because the statistics were calculated including data on the population of Nagorno-Karabakh. --Mastersun25 (talk) 15:11, 28 May 2021 (UTC)Reply

@Mastersun25 the person who has NO understanding of the issue is YOU. Azerbaijan regards Artsakh/Nagorno-Karabakh Armenians as Azerbaijani citizens while Artsakh is a de-facto independent country and it's citizens hold Armenian passports. Why would you just consider what Azerbaijan claims? Also you don't provide accurate demographics BUT "expert analysis." In fact Artsakh has official statistics. STOP contributing to information war and stop THE HATE please.
