Hispanic edit
Just like we have a foreign born category, I want to have a "hispanic" category in the decades applicable. --Criticalthinker (talk) 08:50, 9 April 2012 (UTC)

Something's got to be wrong with the data for 2010-2020. The only major ethnic/racial groups population to fall between 2010 and 2020 was the black population.--Criticalthinker (talk) 05:44, 24 September 2022 (UTC)
- Info is correct, but it's misleading. "White" did drop, but only because there was a nation-wide change in how Latinos self-identified, and it was significant. A lot who identified as "white" in 2010 (and earlier) are not identifying as "two-or-more." The Census was very clear during its release that that is where the 'decline' was coming from, generally. So it seems a bit misleading to word the article like this. (Non-Hispanic) white and Hispanic populations increased in Detroit. So simply saying that the white population "continued" to decline obsfuscates movement, especially considering how the racial terms are generally understood. --Criticalthinker (talk) 04:00, 26 September 2022 (UTC)
