English/Welsh
editi'm pretty certain that demented are not english, but mostly welsh. they used to frequent gigs around south wales in the early eighties (particularly ant), and i'm pretty certain they were living in cardiff. we certainly met them in cardiff prior to going up on their bus to watch them support king kurt at the hammersmith ballroom, christmas 85 (eddie tudorpole was the other support act) i think it was the slammers tour, but i'm not totally sure. hell, if you were into psychobilly in the eighties, you're lucky to remember anything. 194.176.221.81ishmael.
- You're right, there are lots of mistakes not yet corrected in this article, just go ahead and change it. :) Enzigel 11:51, 12 August 2006 (UTC)
Main photo
editMain photo will be removed soon since it's copyright status is disputed, and I can't contact Peg about it. If you have good, quality photo shot of DAG made by you, that you are willing to release under GNU Free Documentation License, please come to rescue. :) Enzigel 13:20, 16 August 2006 (UTC)

Discography 89-1991
editI am a fan of Skrewdriver, and have been in understanding that the lead singer Ian Stuart made somewhat 3 LP´s, 3 singles and an EP performing with DAG compliation under the name of THE KLANSMEN in between 1989 and 1991. How is this? —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 88.113.251.138 (talk) 07:16, 18 April 2007 (UTC).
DAG as a group, have never recorded material as the KLANSMEN, . DAG have never been affiliated with nazis or the nazi music scene.
No members of demented have ever recorded with ian stuart.but one member did have a room in a shared house in kings cross.(any excuse to get more people from other cults.)
In an interview Ian Stewart claims that the first recording of The Klansmen was made with the help of musicians of Demented Are Go. The interview is quoted here: http://www.rockorama.com/ian-interview.htm (search for "Demented" on that page). Also, The Klansmen's German record label, Rock-O-Rama, seems to have published catalogues with the comment: "Klansmen sind: Skrewdriver und Demented Are Go" ("Klansmen are: Skrewdriver and DAG"). There is some speculation on the net that if anyone, then only Graeme Grant has played for The Klansmen, but people suspect that the whole story of DAG recording with Ian Stuart is made up and was put in the world to attract Psychobilly fans to Stewart's musical projects and Rock-O-Rama's catalogue of rightist, Oi and punk music. Psychobilly fans had close associations to the skinhead scene in Germany in the late 80s and where generally suspected by many punks of a rightist attitude. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 87.165.64.179 (talk) 21:52, 18 July 2011 (UTC)
Things left unresolved
editMy British ain't that great; so does anyone know what leather keks are?
- Keks are trousers (in Northern slang) — Preceding unsigned comment added by 134.2.187.1 (talk) 22:01, 18 July 2011 (UTC)
I've seen the band's name written as Demented Are Go! (with an exclamation point) and it's written in this article with a lower-cased A in Are. Can anyone verify the correct puncuation and capitalization then fix the article as necessary? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Neum (talk • contribs) 01:18, 7 November 2007 (UTC)
Teds
editTeds are Rockabilly fans yes, but Rockabillies are not all Teds. Teds are a sub group within the Rockabilly/Rock & Roll scenes. Most Teds tend to have rightwing or rightwing extreme ideas. Rockabilly is often associated with the American Confederate flag because of it's origin from the south of the U.S.A., but many Teds also carry this flag in various ways because of it's historic meaning (meaning anti-black/white superiority190.4.139.54 (talk) 03:55, 28 February 2008 (UTC)).
DAG and the Klansmen..Let's clear this up...
editCould whoever keeps editing this page STOP including sections that deal with Graeme Grant and Lex Luther's involvement with Ian Stuart and the Klansmen.. It has/or had nothing to do with Demented Are Go as a band and is misleading. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2.216.62.56 (talk) 11:25, 3 July 2012 (UTC)
Mark 'Sparky' Phillips
editAccording to your page, Mark "Sparky" Phillips (vocals/drums) is a past member and Sparky (vocals/lyrics) is an actual member.... it's not the same person, are you sure? 80.32.117.89 (talk) 17:43, 1 January 2013 (UTC)
