- Despite previous reports the hospital was not torn down. The hospital is still there and many residents claim to have heard strange noises, etc from it. Many residents believe it to be haunted. Plans had been made for converting the aging, though structurally sound hospital into a luxury club house, but unfortunately vandals prevented those plans by lighting fires, starting floods, and slashing open bags of grass seed. To the dismay of many, vandals also desecrated the Cenotaph - stealing the helmet and breaking off the period rifle which had been set into the top of the memorial. Im from Delisle, The hospital has now been torn down, I have also lived there for 20 years and have been to the hospital when open, not haunted..nor Have I ever heard tales of it being Haunted. Also Richard Butler played 7 NHL games

I also removed the refernce to Richard Butler which appears to be incomplete. 23skidoo 17:46, 7 March 2007 (UTC)
