Hey, I'm going to be reviewing this article. Expect comments by the end of the week. Some Dude From North Carolina (talk) 12:31, 4 May 2021 (UTC)
Infobox and lead
edit- Use "plainlist" instead of "<br>" in the infobox.
- "Toronto, Ontario, Canada" looks like a WP:SEAOFBLUE (see WP:OL).
- Yeah, Toronto, Ontario seems like a better option. Some Dude From North Carolina (talk) 00:57, 13 May 2021 (UTC)
- The infobox genre and runtime need references per the template.
- Not sure "and others" is necessary. The "starring" section should mention every lead in the opening credits / link to character list.
- The show does not contain opening cast credits, and the ending credits vary depending on the characters relevant to the episode. The starring section lists all the actors in the show who played notable characters that already have articles. I can remove that and replace it the character list if that's a problem. ToQ100gou (talk) 00:53, 13 May 2021 (UTC)
- If the "starring" section is not definitive then a character list link would be better. Some Dude From North Carolina (talk) 01:00, 13 May 2021 (UTC)
- The note after "27 February 1989" needs sources.
- Other than that, the lead looks good.
Development
edit- "a adult-centered" → "an adult-centered"
- The block quote needs a citation.
- In #Filming, It's Late → "It's Late"
- End quotes should always be followed by a citation (WP:QUOTE).
- "writer for the series" → "a writer for the series"
Premise
edit- The third paragraph is uncited.
- "a ethnically" → "an ethnically"
Cast
edit- Several paragraphs here lack sources.
- Remove the comma after "fixed cast".
Episodes
edit- No issues here.
Print media
edit- The last sentence in the first paragraph needs a source.
Release
edit- See WP:DATECOMMA and MOS:TIME.
- Also be consistent with the dmy format.
- "September 22, 1987 [18]" → "September 22, 1987[18]"
- "the The Afternoon Show" → "The Afternoon Show"
- "mid 1990s" → "mid-1990s"
- #Home_media_and_streaming needs additional sources.
- Yes. Some Dude From North Carolina (talk) 02:43, 13 May 2021 (UTC)
Reception and impact
edit- See WP:RECEPTION.
- The last sentence in the first paragraph of #In_popular_culture needs a source.
- Be consistent with the dmy format here too.
- As above, fixed.
- "it's" is a contraction between it and is. However, several sections in this article use "it's" to describe a season (ex. "it's second season") when it should be "its second season" so correct them. They can be found in "First-run broadcast", "Critical reception", and "Awards and nominations".
Awards and nominations
edit- See above.
References and other comments
edit- I do not see a reason to capitalize the word "Season", so be consistent in #Cast and #Notes.
- Archive sources (you can use [1] or [2] to do so).
