Inconsistency with Fallow deer edit

That article says that it is not known whether fallow deer went feral in Roman times and survived, or whether they died out and were reintroduced by the Normans (though this is unreferenced). This srticle asserts that they have been introduced twice, again unreferenced. Any experts able to reconcile these (preferably with a reference)? --ColinFine (talk) 11:44, 22 January 2018 (UTC)Reply
