Relation to DeepDream page edit

This page is related to the DeepDream page. That page describes the specific Google DeepDream program, whereas this page describes the dreaming "idea". Is it better to merge the pages? The situation is somewhat similar to the word "xerox", which refers both to a brand of copier, and to the general category.— Preceding unsigned comment added by 12.125.215.110 (talkcontribs) 05:51, 4 August 2016 (UTC)Reply

These two articles are covering the same ground - I think it'd make more sense to have the "DeepDream" software described in a section of the "Deepdreaming" article. McGeddon (talk) 11:49, 5 October 2016 (UTC)Reply

  • Merge. Merging the two articles makes perfect sense. My preference would be into DeepDream because that is where the word originates. This page would then mostly go into a background, concept or origin section. - Shiftchange (talk) 10:08, 10 December 2016 (UTC)Reply
