Decriminalized in US Counties

As of 1/14/2021 Washtenaw County Michigan has become the first county in the Country to officially decriminalize Sex Work. I believe this an important update that should be added under Decriminalization and criminalization.LittleRedRose99 (talk) 18:18, 14 January 2021 (UTC)

Revise map showing prostitution laws

The 2016 law has also resulted in increased violence against sex workers. Because of the heightened police presence, the sex work that does happen has been pushed off the streets and into areas with limited surveillance.[70]

The assertion in the first sentenced is not substanciated. The reference supporting the second sentence can hardly support the concrete situation in France as the source is dated from 2005 and the French law applies since 2016 only. Nat34189 (talk) 20:09, 24 October 2023 (UTC)

"According to a survey conducted by the French NGO Médecins du Monde, 42% of percent of prostitutes in France say that they have been exposed to more violence since the law took effect in 2016.[71]"

The reference cited is indicated as relating to figures about prostitution but when clicking the page appears to be figures on youth, not at all supporting the survey statement. Nat34189 (talk) 20:31, 24 October 2023 (UTC)
