This has been driving me crazy, but since the Green Bicycle Case was rather less respectable, it may have been the one involving a certain aristocrat who slew a rival in a theater...I've read the article but I can't recall his name. Discrepancy with The Art of Donald McGill

at The Art of Donald McGill it says it was published in 1965 in "Decline of the English Murder and other essays", and that is the paperback Penguin edition I have, which includes this. I thought it was published in the US as Dickens, Dali and others (I think the Collected Essays says so but I don't have them any more, lost in a move). I am probably wrong there but we have a discrepancy I think, if only in the title. I am quite aware the title stands for the essay and not the anthology but still the dates differ.

THis has probably been done before and sorted, but the 1954 vs 1965 made me sit up and say, as I only clicked through a couple of links to wind up at it, this is somehow conflicting information that needs to be clarified.
