Removed text edit

I removed the text of the Declaration, since it's already included at Wikisource (a more appropriate place), and there's a link to it at the bottom of the article. – Quadell (talk) (bounties) 14:11, 17 January 2006 (UTC)Reply

It probably would be good to add the first few lines of the text to give the reader a sense of the document. Brholden 16:13, 17 January 2006 (UTC)Reply

That could be appropriate. – Quadell (talk) (bounties) 16:48, 17 January 2006 (UTC)Reply

Nascent edit

Referring to the women's rights movement as nascent is sexist; nascent refers to birth. You might as well talk about the dusk of the black rights movement. 24.63.170.16 20:04, 3 July 2007 (UTC)Reply

Signers edit

The Wikisource link has a transcript of the document, but lists no signers. This source, in addition to a transcript, lists the signers: http://www.greatamericandocuments.com/declaration-sentiments.html Thank you, Wordreader (talk) 04:31, 10 December 2013 (UTC)Reply

Here are some sources for the names of the signers and for images that could enhance the article ---

Search for original document edit

As of October 2015, there is an active search for the original document; this is worth at least a brief mention: The Lost History: Help Us Find the Declaration of Sentiments Wingman4l7 (talk) 06:07, 8 December 2015 (UTC)Reply

Apparent omission of resolutions edit

Please see http://www.usconstitution.net/sentiments.html. It appears that this page, Declaration of Sentiments, is missing the all-important resolutions. Jack Harich (talk) 15:45, 4 March 2017 (UTC)Reply
