Cleanup edit

This page was marked for cleanup per MoS:DAB. I removed the following entries because the name "Dawn Patrol" was not mentioned on the linked-to articles, which makes them likely non-notable. If you want to re-include them on the disambiguation page, make sure the main articles mention them. If someone was interested in surfing, he would type in "surfing", not "dawn patrol", so this meaning can be found on wikt:surfing instead.

I made the dab page before Mick Wagner was deleted, and that article did specifically mention "dawn patrol". Also, I made the dab page as a result of Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Dawn patrol; the original article placed on AFD was about surfing before sunrise (check the history) so I decided to leave a brief mention in the article with a link to surfing in case the orignial contributor came back. ~ ONUnicorn(Talk|Contribs)problem solving 13:25, 6 April 2007 (UTC)Reply
It's usual that entries that seem non-notable (for the moment) get taken off of dab pages in cleanups because it's not the purpose of dab pages to list every possible meaning/mention of a thing, but rather provide links to existing articles or articles that will/should exist in the near future (see WP:DAB). Also, Mick Wagner doesn't show up in an AfD, so I assumed that article had never been created or was speedy deleted, making the creation of an article about that specific radio show even more unlikely. But as I said, if someone thinks this entry should go on the main dab page, put them back. I don't claim to be right with each and every assessments; I'm just generally trying to get rid of too much clutter, and the left-out notable things will be put back on the dab page sooner or later anyway. :-) – sgeureka tc 14:37, 6 April 2007 (UTC)Reply
Mick Wagner was an expired prod. And I wasn't arguing for them to be reinstated, just saying why they were there to begin with. ~ ONUnicorn(Talk|Contribs)problem solving 16:38, 6 April 2007 (UTC)Reply
