This article is about the former chairman of the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power, an organization with an annual budget of over four billion dollars. Its creation is fully in accordance with the rules of Wikipedia. --Galdjie (talk) 05:56, 8 February 2010 (UTC)Reply

How does being chairman of that department make him a notable person? There's not enough in the article yet to show that he is notable. (By the way, if I though there was no chance that he was notable, I'd have already deleted the article. Since there's the possibility he may be notable, I've left the article tagged but have left it around.) —C.Fred (talk) 06:02, 8 February 2010 (UTC)Reply
Further, after looking at the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power article, the only individual I see mentioned there who is notable only for heading LADWP is William Mulholland, who was responsible for the aqueducts supplying LA and has two roads named after him. —C.Fred (talk) 06:12, 8 February 2010 (UTC)Reply
However, the general notability guidelines talk about coverage in reliable sources. With two news sources plus the Huffington Post, I'm going to say that there's an assertion made under GNG and speedy deletion criteria are no longer met. —C.Fred (talk) 06:29, 8 February 2010 (UTC)Reply

What edit can I make so that searching "Hamid Nahai" would redirect to this article? --Galdjie (talk) 06:33, 8 February 2010 (UTC)Reply

Make Hamid Nahai a redirect to this article. —C.Fred (talk) 06:36, 8 February 2010 (UTC)Reply

Article title

In looking at the sources, they seem to refer to him as H. David Nahai. Should the article be moved to that title? —C.Fred (talk) 06:39, 8 February 2010 (UTC)Reply
