Holding dual citizenship does not make him "Scottish-American" if he is not referred to as such.

I favour British-American as his designated nationality as this is also the case with a number of other scientists from the UK who live and work as citizens in the USA, but I don't see a good reference at present. Given that there are currently hundreds of news references to nationality, saying various combinations but the only official one is the Nobel prize site itself, which says he is British we should go with that. In David MacMillan's Twitter bio @dmac68, he specifically defines his Nationality as Scottish: "Scottish chemist". Not British, Scottish-American, British-American or any other merging. Please leave the Nationality listed on the Wikipedia page as Scottish, as David MacMillan clearly defines himself as being Scottish.88.215.55.209 (talk) 13:21, 11 October 2021 (UTC)

Uploading a photograph

I just found a photograph of David MacMillan on a webpage of Princeton University. So can I upload it? The webpage says-"Images of MacMillan and a C.V. are available for use by media."

Check date

I’m a classmate of Prof MacMillan from University of Glasgow days and I’m sure he didn’t leave for the US in 1990, as his PhD with Dr E Colvin would have run from 1989 (when he finished his graduate studies 1985-1989) and the 3 year PhD would have completed in 1992. All other dates should be checked. Also, where is the reference to his Knighthood? IvanTomm (talk) 13:12, 9 June 2022 (UTC)
