Thank You

edit

I've got to thank whoever put up the pic because that really just made my day. I jokingly typed David Grant Medical Center into the search figuring I'd get nothing or just a brief blurb on it. If Travis AFB hadn't been mentioned, I'd have known this wasn't what I was looking for. See, the big reason I was jokingly doing this is because I was born at the hospital in 1974 and my parents moved back east just a few weeks after I was born. So I never even thought I'd ever know what the place I was born at looked like. That pic means a lot more to me than any of you might imagine. -anonnymous 10/15/2006

You're Welcome

edit

Unfortunately, the photo you're looking at is the current facility, which was opened in 1988. However, the old "Hospital on the Hill" where you were born still exists. As soon as I have more time, I'll update this site with more historical background entries and imagery. WSpaceport 23:29, 19 April 2007 (UTC)Reply

Medical incident section

edit

I added the NPOV flag to the medical incident section, as it is clearly written as a defense of the hospital and not as a neutral statement of facts. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 132.3.65.68 (talk) 13:58, 23 May 2011 (UTC)Reply

I deleted the paragraphs about comparison with national averages - just overkill in terms of coverage for an article about the hospital, no matter how sad the incident for the victim. It still has too much detail - this is one event when thousands of people have been treated there. Out of proportion for this article.Parkwells (talk) 18:39, 23 November 2013 (UTC)Reply

Hi,

I wanted to upload a photo I took of DGMC in 1977 to the article, but I don't want to create an account. If anyone would like to add a photo, please let me know.

My name is Gerald Daumiller and I was enlisted in the Air Force and worked in the histology lab at DGMC from the fall of 1976 through September of 1979. I can be contacted at geraldda@montana.com
