Some Issues edit

1. Article states "David Duffield has now been "relegated" to commentating on lesser races". In my opinion, the age says he was born in 1931 so he's 78. And the writer wants to make an issue of this? that he stays in the studio as an expert during the Tour de France rather then travelling 8 hours a day to get to the finish of the stages. Come on!!! The article tries to make an issue of this. I think it's perfectly natural for a man of his age (who has had heart problems) to take semi-retirement. 2. Why is this a BBC stub? The article does not explain any involvement with the bbc 3. I think there is a clear bias in the writer's tone (and probably also in mine) Phil Nolte (talk) 10:36, 10 April 2010 (UTC)Reply

As someone who has listened to hours and hours of David's 'enlightening' commentry I would have to agree that this article, while trying to be lighthearted, is infact biased and unrepresentative of a cycling world legend. The man deserves to be respected for bringing exciting cycling to generations of fans. Stevexyg (talk) 21:55, 29 May 2011

I have made this article less biased and included more refrences, hopefully addressing two of the valid points raised by Phil Nolte above. Point 2 about the BBC stub is currently unresolved as I'm not sure why it is there either.Stevexyg (talk) 00:49, 30 May 2011 (UTC)stevexygReply
