I am an outsider to Sierra Leone race relations, but it seems inappropriate that his Creole ethnicity and wife's ethnicity is included in this article. The article is chiefly about his achievements as an economist, and race need not have anything to do with it. On the other hand, I know that race is hugely important in West Africa, due to the complicated relations between native Africans, and those moved around by the end of the slave trade. --Jra (talk) 18:53, 6 May 2009 (UTC)Reply
