This article is under construction - it relates to a notable professional cyclist who was prominent in sport in 1970s and 1980s. Dave Lloyd was notable as being a continental professional for the Raleigh Team and winner of many races. Cycling1964 23:11, 5 September 2007 (UTC)

I agree that he's notable, but the article as it stood had numerous problems: first it was far too promotional in tone (see WP:NPOV), and secondle, it was largely copied from his website [1], which apart from explaining the promotional tone, makes it a copyright violation. Changing the odd word here and there doesn't stop it being a copyvio. I've rewritten it as a stub; please do re-expand, but remember to keep it neutral, to use your own words, and to make references to reliable sources. Best, Iain99 19:25, 9 September 2007 (UTC)
