Why has That Media Show been removed? He was the first host and the episodes are available here- http://blip.tv/that-media-show from 2008! — Preceding unsigned comment added by 75.94.135.74 (talk) 01:46, 9 February 2013 (UTC)

Re-added! Thanks for pointing it out. Mimi C. (talk) 03:50, 9 February 2013 (UTC)

Twitter

Just a reminder people, Twitter is NOT considered a reliable source according to Wikipedia's guidelines. You'll need to find a different source to back-up the same claim. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 58.168.13.99 (talk) 23:36, 8 November 2010 (UTC)

Photograph

Do we have a picture of him for the infobox? --Willthacheerleader18 (talk) 03:18, 19 November 2010 (UTC)

Sexuality

He plays a gay character on Glee.. do we know his sexual preference in real life? --Willthacheerleader18 (talk) 00:16, 5 December 2010 (UTC)

It says in the career section that unlike his character on Glee, Criss, himself is straight. EnDaLeCoMpLeX (contributions) • (let's chat) 00:39, 5 December 2010 (UTC)
There is no source for this information though. --Willthacheerleader18 (talk) 00:47, 5 December 2010 (UTC)
Oh, you're right. I guess I didn't catch that. EnDaLeCoMpLeX (contributions) • (let's chat) 13:53, 5 December 2010 (UTC)
I don't know that it's actually relevant to the article, but this would seem a good source if it were. [1] --Siradia (talk) 09:27, 14 December 2010 (UTC)

He doesnt play an openely gay character on Glee... The character Blaine has never admitted to being gay.... —Preceding unsigned comment added by 99.37.4.252 (talk) 22:43, 3 January 2011 (UTC)

Actually, yes he has, in his first episode even. When speaking to Blaine, Wes, and David about his "spying" on them. Kurt: "Can I ask you guys a question? Are you guys all gay?" <chuckle> Blaine: "Uh, no, I mean, I am, but these two have girlfriends." Then they go on to discuss his past problems at his old school related to being taunted for being gay. --Siradia (talk) 07:24, 6 January 2011 (UTC)

http://www.afterelton.com/meme-11-10-2010 Another source that involves Darren discussing his coming out as straight. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 75.22.137.12 (talk) 12:08, 23 January 2011 (UTC)

Also he said he was straight on Ellen. Check it out it's on YouTube. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 174.44.158.115 (talk) 05:03, 14 February 2011 (UTC)

You just need to see some of the interviews that they've been made to him, and he always sais he is not gay at all —Preceding unsigned comment added by 83.35.13.16 (talk) 22:23, 9 March 2011 (UTC)

He is gay —Preceding unsigned comment added by 63.170.11.251 (talk) 04:31, 18 March 2011 (UTC)

Looks like any reference to his not-gayness gets deleted quickly. Anyway, From this interview in Vanity Fair he says:

And so for the longest time when people asked me about Blaine, I wanted to say It doesn’t matter. And it doesn’t. But I don’t want to devalue it, because it’s a very earnest question, and I can see why people would want to know. And I realized that if I said, It doesn’t matter, that immediately means that I’m gay. So I do define myself as a straight male, but it really doesn’t come into play with me in this role. As an actor, your objective is always to play the scene. And this case, he happens to be a gay teen.

Maybe someone can work this into the text appropriately; it's a legitimate, sourced, fact. Barsoomian (talk) 04:01, 29 March 2011 (UTC)

Ethnic heritage

The page is locked, or I'd just clean this up myself: "Criss was born in San Francisco, California. His mother, a native of Cebu, Philippines, is a Filipina and his father of Irish descent.[3][4]"

It's redundant to say that a native of the Philippines is a Filipina.

How about, "His mother is a native of Cebu, Philippines, and his father is of Irish descent."

Or "His mother is a native of Cebu, Philippines, and his father is an American of Irish descent."

Or "His mother is a native of Cebu, Philippines, and his father is an Irish American." Hostgeeky (talk) 19:52, 7 April 2011 (UTC)

Fixed. Hostgeeky (talk) 21:58, 8 September 2015 (UTC)

I agree. Comments about his ethnicity is stupid. His mother is Filipina with Chinese, Spanish and Filipino mix? I thought Filipinos are Filipinos. Some are good looking and some are average and some are ugly. Just like any other race. Why do Filipinos discredit their ethnicity by telling people that they are mixed with Spanish. Ugh. So pisses me off. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.146.211.229 (talk) 15:15, 19 May 2012 (UTC)

Roman Catholic

Why is he listed as an American Roman Catholic? First off, the article doesn't even say anything about his religion or anything related to it. Second, he said in this interview:

"I believe in things greater than us, and I believe in love and human beings, and I believe in reverence and spirituality and divinity. Whether or not that is embodied in whatever doctrines might call a god is not really important to me. I just believe in a greater something and I believe in good people.”

I mean, that doesn't sound like someone who is a Roman Catholic. Just a thought. Epo9 (talk) 20:33, 30 June 2011 (UTC)

Blaine's age on Glee

Mmmkay, so I don't think this page is able to be edited right now (or at least I can't figure out how), but there's an error. Someone states that in Season 3 of Glee Blaine is going to be a year younger than Kurt, but we don't yet know if this is true. He could be the same age, or he could be a year younger, the writers haven't decided yet (or they're not telling us). So that needs to be changed. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 174.51.168.16 (talk) 16:36, 26 July 2011 (UTC)

It has been established now that Blaine is a Junior. Kurt is running for Senior class president and when they were doing the auditions for West Side Story Blaine did not want to audition for Tony because he got the impression that they would not give it to someone who was not a senior. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 74.77.127.106 (talk) 15:40, 9 November 2011 (UTC)

Edit request on 20 February 2012

I am requesting that Darren Criss' age be changed from 24 to 25.

Thank you.

Footiegal1997 (talk) 17:42, 20 February 2012 (UTC)

Not done: please provide reliable sources that support the change you want to be made. Thanks, Celestra (talk) 17:58, 20 February 2012 (UTC)

I don't understand Footiegal1997's request: when I look at the article, the infobox shows an age of 25 and a birthdate of February 5, 1987. There have been no edits to the page today at all, so it should have said 25 ever since his birthdate 15 days ago. BlueMoonset (talk) 18:34, 20 February 2012 (UTC)
