Biased source edit

Huge chunks of this page read like a bloviating puff piece. The reason is obvious: the main source for a lot of this page's content is the creator's own website; hardly an unbiased source. If another source can be found about how Darkchylde is supposedly more popular than Buffy and better selling than Spider-Man, so be it, but until then I'm removing these references. jayunderscorezero (talk) 18:00, 10 December 2023 (UTC)Reply

That's not an apology edit

I'd like to remove the term "apology" as what Mr. Queen posted was in no way an apology. I believe it would be better to be more specific/accurate by stating something along the lines of "Mr. Queen expressed difficulties in his personal life and believes(ed?) that his original response to the criticism was wrong.

He said he made a mistake based on his difficulties, he did not apologize for the mistake. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Johnnytherocketstar (talkcontribs) 21:29, 6 August 2014 (UTC)Reply

I'm just repeating what the source stated. Arstechnica's title "DMCA mea culpa: Randy Queen apologizes for response to criticism [Updated]" calls it an apology, and since we go by the sources, we'll call it an apology too. Tutelary (talk) 21:34, 6 August 2014 (UTC)Reply

Fair enough, Clearly I'm new to this soooo...Anyway liked the other edits. Thanks for the help! — Preceding unsigned comment added by Johnnytherocketstar (talkcontribs) 23:49, 6 August 2014 (UTC)Reply

Tumbler controversy, why here? edit

It seems to me that the section "Tumblr depictions and subsequent DMCA takedown notices" does not belong to an article on the fictional character Darkchylde. It should be moved to a page on Randy Queen, the author, or the page on the website Tumblr. Kileytoo (talk) 20:53, 20 October 2014 (UTC)Reply
