The plot thickens edit

Biljana Srbljanović finds a number of similarities between the film and Arsen Diklić's 1986 screenplay. Lordan Zafranović had already made the accusations of plagiarism against the authors, which led to an apparently still ongoing libel lawsuit against him.[1] GregorB (talk) 14:13, 24 February 2021 (UTC)Reply

@GregorB: The article can definitely discuss accusations about plagiarism.--Maleschreiber (talk) 00:21, 25 February 2021 (UTC)Reply

I would look for corroborating information about plagiarism, and would not use Srbljanović on her own. She is a quite controversial figure in Serbia, and has made intemperate statements about other people. We certainly could use Zafranović and Srbljanović to introduce the fact that an Academy Award nominated director and a playwright have suggested that there are a number of similarities between Diklić's screenplay and this movie, and that there is an ongoing libel suit with Zafranović over his accusations of plagiarism. The article would not be comprehensive without a mention of the accusations and libel suit. Peacemaker67 (click to talk to me) 02:50, 25 February 2021 (UTC)Reply
Srbljanović's original FB post can't be used, but reports about it in the media can. She is a playwright, so I suppose that counts as an expert in evaluating screenplays. IIRC, she doesn't make any plagiarism claims, but lists a number of plot and character similarities. (These may or may not be covered here, as the article shouldn't really turn into a blow-by-blow account of everything that's been going on with the film.)
