Just a quick note for the future: some of the sources cited so far aren't ideal but there's at least one more reliable book ("Palais et Demeures de Fès, vol. III" by Revault, Golvin and Amahan) I'm waiting to access which I hope should contain more historical and architectural information. One of the blog-like sites cited (View from Fez) is actually a decent (but somewhat informal) English-language source of news on the history and heritage of the city, so I've chosen to include it as a compliment to some of the citations. Another thing missing, though, is more recent news about the current status of the building; some commenters appear to be saying that the palace was never converted to a hotel as planned and is now in a state of abandon. It would be great to get more reliable news sources to clarify this. R Prazeres (talk) 04:31, 20 December 2020 (UTC)Reply
