Anglican conversion? edit

"Meanwhile a small number of Roman Catholic women continue to convert to Anglicanism so that they may pursue a form of priestly ministry." What are the references of this alleged fact?

Usage of Roman Catholic Church vs. Catholic Church edit

There seems to be a series of edits to this page which have replaced the usage of 'Catholic Church' with 'Roman Catholic Church.' In order to avoid confussion there must be a consistant use of terms which reflects common and historical usage of the terms. The term 'Catholic Church' is an umbrella term which embraces several different rites which share a common theologial position and are united as a body in the papacy. 'Roman Catholic Church' refers to the largest and most influential of these rites. Roman Catholicism comprises only a part of the Catholic Church as a whole. This article must respect the usage of these terms and use the term 'Catholic Church' when speaking about the theological positions which are shared by the various rites contained in Catholicism. Wikipedia is not a theological battle ground. Respecting historical and common usage is important in presenting a NPOV article. The issue of women's ordination is not an issue which is contrained to Roman Catholicism but is a theological position of general Catholicism. It is for this reason that I will edit the terms used in this article so that it may be accesible to a general reader without causing an identity crises for the Catholic Church. WikiProject Catholicism edit

I added this article to the WikiProject Catholicism because it needs some work and looks to fit into this project. I'm not a frequent editor, so if I did this incorrectly, please forgive me.Triznitch (talk) 22:12, 30 March 2011 (UTC)Reply
