Fair use rationale for Image:Megaramp.jpg
editImage:Megaramp.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.
Inaccurate Information
editThe articele says
"He won another gold in the 2006 X Games Big Air. He did this by clearing the 70ft gap with a Rocket Air Backflip, riding the half-pipe to a height of 95.0ft."
This is impossible because there is no half pipe in the Big Air event, only a quarter pipe, and the world record for height is only 54 feet. Toadaron (talk) 21:21, 3 August 2008 (UTC)
- I will look into this during my expansion of the article this week.--Soulparadox (talk) 03:21, 18 January 2013 (UTC)
Triathlon Win
editIn "On Video" it talks about a win Danny had in a Hawaii Triathlon April 2000 and a $100k prize. I can't find any other references to this. Does anyone know what's up with that? - Yes, this is accurate, as he spoke of the win in a 2012 interview for Ride channel (part of the "Free Lunch" series). He also explained that he really needed the money at the time and won the event following his recovery from a serious injury. I will be adding this to the article in due course.--Soulparadox (talk) 03:20, 18 January 2013 (UTC)
Expansion
editThis article really needs to be expanded, in light of Way's status in the global skateboarding community. I will be working on the article over the next couple of weeks and have also added the relevant tag.--Soulparadox (talk) 03:20, 18 January 2013 (UTC)
Chris Joslin Wiki
editChris Joslin skateboards for Plan B team just like Danny Way. I am looking to make a page for the newest pro on plan b Chris Joslin. He has been putting in a lot of work recently and has had a lot of coverage in 2015. I was planning on getting my information through interviews in magazines as well as videos. I was also going to acquire information through his video parts as well as contests talking about him. Does anyone have any suggestions or comments about this? - I'd like to hear about what would be on Chris Joslin's page. Would it be more about his skateboarding career or his personal life? I would like to hear about both since I do not know much about him it would be good to hear about his personal life and skateboarding career equally. --Rvara14 (talk) 22:38, 5 November 2015 (UTC)
- I do have information on Chris Joslin other than his skateboarding career. I will upload, a rough draft of the page i want to make in the next week or so. Would you be willing to take a look at it once I have a draft?Kat Noaga (talk) 05:14, 6 November 2015 (UTC)Noaga

Hi Kat Noaga! I am interested in your page about Chris Joslin! I was wondering how popular is Chris Joslin? Like you mentioned he is a professional skater on Plan B. What is Plan B? Who are all the members? What are Chris's favorite tricks? What events or what tournaments/competitions is he involved in? Where does he skate most of the time? These are just some questions to consider when writing on him. Hope this helps! Tsangdouglas (talk) 04:29, 7 November 2015 (UTC)
- Chris Joslin Wiki
I want to create a wiki for Chris Joslin.
Chris Joslin is the Newest Professional skateboarder for Plan B, along with his various other sponsors.[1]
I will use this source to share information about Joslin's family, and about his childhood, and his current living situation. This article gives lots of information about "who" Chris Joslin is.[2]
I will use this source to talk about details of Joslin and his sponsor's as well as the processes he goes through while filming [3]
This article talks about Joslin's reputation as a skateboarder, and explained how quickly he became a professional [4]
I am going to use this source to talk about how Chris Joslin approaches skateboarding contests, it will also give some information about his life[5]
This source addresses rumors of Joslin at El Torro, as well as provides some useful career information[6]
This source talks about how even professional filmers are able to see what Joslin has is a special talent on the skateboard. The article provides useful information on the process that Joslin goes through while skating.[7]
This source is a video interview of Joslin talking about the filming of the Plan B video and talks about his day to day life. It also talks about his preprofessional career.[8]
Using at least all of these sources, I am confident that I could make a wiki for Chris Joslin identifying many aspects of his life outside of his career. This helps understand who Chris Joslin is as a person, not from just one biased perspective.
I was planning on having the page consist of sections: an overview of him, early life, his skate career, Awards, Sponsorships, personal life, Social media presence(instagram), and video parts.
I hope this is enough information, all the sources are available also on my talk pageKat Noaga (talk) 19:08, 9 November 2015 (UTC)
- To address the questions, Plan B is a skateboarding company whose page I would connect to, I would connect his page with all the related wiki's so all the information comes from somewhere — Preceding unsigned comment added by Kat Noaga (talk • contribs) 19:09, 9 November 2015 (UTC)
