On the Dutch Wikipedia page, Trejo is said to be born in Los Angeles, USA. That wouldn't make him a Mexican actor, like is stated in the English wiki, right? Can anyone confirm or disconfirm? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 85.144.225.56 (talk) 00:16, 29 December 2010 (UTC)

In IMDB it says that he made $350 per day not $320 ... sources? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Alawi (talkcontribs) 01:04, 2 October 2007 (UTC)

In early life, it says Danny "successfully completed" a 12 step program. I don't know of any 12 step programs that ever get "completed", since they are life-long programs that take a continuous effort to prevent relapse. If he attended many meetings, I doubt he would say he was "cured" or "finished" with the program.—Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.13.130.193 (talkcontribs)

Solon would agree with you. -Hit bull, win steak(Moo!) 15:52, 17 August 2006 (UTC)

I disagree. Actually "successfully completed" is a direct quote from Mr. Trejo's myspace autobiography. I did not write it, but I believe that if he himself defines himself as cured of his addictions, than that should be respected. Opinions vary as to whether all addicts/alcoholics need to continue with meetings forever. Some do, some don't. Your opinion, my opinion, or the official position of AA on this matter should not supersede an individuals right to define himself as addict, a recovering addict or as a former addict. This is especially true if we are to maintain a neutral point of view.Erin0027 (talk) 20:42, 7 April 2008 (UTC)Erin0027

-I'm not entirely sure how his role as a career criminal in "Heat" can be classed as a 'good guy' so I removed it from the list of examples

Robert Rodríguez's cousin?

Is this true? Can we get a source? --147.124.152.117 19:45, 8 April 2007 (UTC)

Turned out,

You should add the show he narrated called "Turned out" Which covered sex in prison. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 74.97.210.239 (talk) 17:32, 19 July 2010 (UTC)

New Vegas voice acting.

I tried adding it myself but the table looked too complex for me to mess with. If someone thinks it's worth adding to the Filmography he'll be a voice actor on Fallout: New Vegas as a character named Raul. Ex-convict

I think is unpolite to state the status of "ex-convict" in Trejo's introduction profile. It's true, he has been in many problems with the law, but to state so raw and crude the "ex-convict" state can be rude, and even it might damage his reception with the fans, public and people alike. -- [User:xwexarexbulletsx|xwexarexbulletsx]] —Preceding unsigned comment added by Xwexarexbulletsx (talkcontribs) 01:45, 29 June 2009 (UTC)

as polite as stating his non-white status. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 200.106.111.64 (talk) 06:53, 20 February 2010 (UTC)

Just heard him on ep 24 of Jay and Silent Bob Get Old, and he openly discusses his time in prison. I can't imagine he'd care about being listed as an ex-con. 64.53.204.156 (talk) 23:16, 16 March 2011 (UTC)

Early life...

It mentions that, "while speaking at a recovery meeting"... and numerous other references that he was in prison throughout the article, but it doesn't mention any of this in the early life section. Why not? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 213.105.246.90 (talk) 14:48, 20 February 2011 (UTC)

I second that. When I read the "recovery meeting" part, I jumped back to the top of the article, thinking I had missed something. Surely there are reliable sources available (public records?) that explain what he was convicted of and how long of a sentence he served. 98.89.39.142 (talk) 05:32, 27 April 2011 (UTC)
As referred to above, Mr. Trejo was on an episode of "Jay and Silent Bob Get Old" (#24), where he discusses his prison term (five years), what he did to get sent there (sold 4 ounces of granulated sugar as "heroin" to an undercover Fed), and where he served his time (San Quentin, Folsom, and Soledad.) I have been trying to read up on what exactly Wikipedia's guidelines are for inclusions of media like podcasts as sources, and am unclear as to whether they would fall under the prohibition of primary source material. If this can be evaluated, and it turns out the podcast is deemed an acceptable source, I would be happy to update the article with a more extensive description of Mr. Trejo's self-described "inability to play well with others" and his eventual rehabilitation. Project A

The filmography doesn't mention that he voiced Lor Sam Pau in the English dub of Project A. Should it be added, or is it too minor? -Skinr — Preceding unsigned comment added by Skinr (talkcontribs) 07:00, 19 November 2011 (UTC)
