You didn't list the URL(s) where you found these images. If your original source has credits, and they are to US Federal agencies, or employess of US Federal agencies, then the images are in the public domain. Great! Otherwise, it is very unlikely to be PD or a "free liscense". Occasionally a justification can be offered that an image can be considered {tl|fair use}} . See Wikipedia:Non-free content. Sometimes (rarely) you can figure out how to contact the copyright holder and convince them to make the image available under a free liscense. Geo Swan (talk) 05:12, 25 September 2009 (UTC)Reply
