Dosed

edit

the song Dosed could be about her, "Way up on the mountain where she died" perhaps? Ameratsu

References?

edit

This article should probably go completely unless people come up with some references. It's also inconsistent - it names four soungs but says they make up a trilogy, for instance. Anyone? Stratpod 22:57, 25 January 2007 (UTC)Reply

I agree completely. Also, does anybody know if the song title "Death of a Martian" on the Mars CD of Stadium Arcadium is also about 'Dani?' —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 24.23.48.57 (talk) 05:11, 15 February 2007 (UTC).Reply

Agreed. In my opinion, this article is made up of pure speculation and has no place on wikipedia. I LOVE DANIELLE SINCLAIR♥-nia! —Preceding unsigned comment added by 64.234.98.25 (talk) 00:06, 17 April 2008 (UTC)Reply

It was about Flea's dog Martian which died during recording. Joel.labes (talk) 06:59, 1 April 2009 (UTC)Reply

Proofs?

edit

IMO the situation with By the Way and Dani California is pretty obvious and links to the lyrics of these songs would be enough for references. Interviews would be nice too although. But when it comes to Californication... that's not obvious at all if Anthony meant the same girl. Any proofs? Netrat_msk (talk) 08:29, 1 May 2008 (UTC)Reply

Original research

edit

Significant portions of this article appear to be original research:

  • "She first appeared in the 1999 song "Californication", but was not mentioned by name, only alluded to through the lyrics" - so how are we supposed to know this is the same character?
  • "The three songs,"Californication", "By the Way", and "Dani California" are meant to link one another, with the completion of the story being the apparent demise of Dani." - says who?
  • "Some fans have speculated..." - which fans? Is this notable speculation, or just ramblings in a forum somewhere?

Actually, Anthony Kiedis has said those statements in interviews. It's correct. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 76.89.179.118 (talk) 15:56, 22 June 2009 (UTC)Reply

If you can provide a reference for this, then we can add the stuff back in. Oli Filth(talk|contribs) 18:23, 22 June 2009 (UTC)Reply
