Cast section edit

Cast section should not have all those separate tables for each season. That level of detail can go in the episode list for the particular season not the main article. Also it should focus on just the main characters. -AngusWOOF (talk) 19:45, 14 March 2015 (UTC)Reply

Please see MOS:TVCAST for why it should be in this format. -AngusWOOF (talk) 18:39, 15 March 2015 (UTC)Reply

Series title edit

Can someone change the title of the article as the show has not changed its name. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Rob the III (talkcontribs) 20:55, 29 June 2015 (UTC)Reply

The new series trailer I've seen shows the name change but I've just checked the BBC TV guide and the first episode of the new series is currently listed under the old title. We'll see if the title card and/or programme listing show the name change when it airs next Tuesday, otherwise it can be changed back. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Alicia Florrick (talkcontribs) 16:12, 30 June 2015 (UTC)Reply
The first part of the trailer shows the name being changed to Rich Jimmy & Kait's although the ending just shows Dani's Castle. It's still being treated as Series 3 though. AngusWOOF (barksniff) 16:19, 30 June 2015 (UTC)Reply

Director Dez McCarthy refers to the series as Dani's Castle 3 in his resume [1] and Paul Rose's resume [2] which leads me to believe the Rich Kimmy & Kait's Castle title is an informal one. Please keep monitoring the programming guides and cite them as well as the broadcast ads. AngusWOOF (barksniff) 20:20, 30 June 2015 (UTC)Reply

Zodiak Media also calls it series 3 [3] although that was back in September. AngusWOOF (barksniff) 21:09, 30 June 2015 (UTC)Reply

Done I went ahead and changed it back to Dani's Castle. The CBBC programming guide still shows it as such:

Editor Emma Collins also called it series 3 when she posted the trailer about 8 months ago: [4] and still refers to it as such on her website. [5] AngusWOOF (barksniff) 20:42, 5 July 2015 (UTC)Reply

Cast order for Series 3 edit

I'm confused as to the comments regarding the series 3 cast order

Article says: Series 3 opening titles order: Richard Wisker, Shannon Flynn, Niall Wright, Kieran Alleyne, Toby Murray, Jessica Forrest, Jordan Brown, Lucy Hutchinson

Then there's a comment saying: THE ACTUAL OPENING TITLES WAS PLAYING IN THE CBBC OFFICE ON 4:30 7TH JULY. THE FIRST EPISODE TITLES WERE SHORTENED BECAUSE OF ESME AND GABE'S SHORT DEPARTURE IN SERIES 2, LEONIE DID NOT APPEAR IN EPISODE ONE AND IS UNKNOWN AS TO WHY CLARE WAS NOT PLACED IN THE TITLES.

So was series 3 episode 1 an incomplete listing or an assumed full listing? Why the comment? Sometimes shows withhold placing new characters as starring on their premiere episode. If that's the case, we can wait for episode 2 to confirm the full list order. AngusWOOF (barksniff) 19:56, 7 July 2015 (UTC)Reply

Please do not muck up the infobox cast order. According to MOS, it should be listed for the entire series and in the order in which the characters are first billed. You already have series opening titles orders.

Jordan Brown's role needs to be clarified. If you want you can put (series 1-2 starring, series 3 starring/recurring/guest), but do not put in all that speculation on whether she is still recurring. AngusWOOF (barksniff) 16:04, 4 August 2015 (UTC)Reply

The infobox cast order should be for the entire series. Per template:infobox television: "Organized by broadcast credit order, with new main cast added to the end of the list" AngusWOOF (barksniff) 17:12, 4 August 2015 (UTC)Reply

Cast table edit

Instead of edit warring back & fourth it's probably best to discuss it here, The cast table layout is used on tons of articles and personally I find them rather helpful as opposed to the bullet-pointed list although WP:TVCAST says otherwise (To be totally honest I thought the cast tables were apart of MOS and I'm gathering everyone else does too!),
Anyway I appreciate it may break MOS & all that but surely having a table overview is more informative to the readers than just a bullet list?
Thanks, –Davey2010Talk 20:56, 30 September 2015 (UTC)Reply

I'm okay with the table. It can cover the main cast and whether they have star or recurring / guest billing. Thanks for keeping it up to MOS standards with regards to the ordering presented. AngusWOOF (barksniff) 22:44, 29 December 2015 (UTC)Reply
