Party-State Dang Guo edit

To be translated:

http://www.chinaelections.org/NewsInfo.asp?NewsID=94968

Since 1927, after Sun Yat-sen decided to copy the USSR political system, Chiang Kai-shek then used the Kuomintang to control, and to operate both the Republic of China government and the Nationalist Revolutionary Army, the ROC bureaucracy had then become the means and tools of the Kuomintang party, where all the major national policies were formulated, resulting in the party holding the supreme power of the whole nation.

Dang Guo and Single party-led republic edit

Anyone like to compare Dang Guo and Chinese Soviet Republic, andPRC ? Arilang talk 22:52, 1 November 2010 (UTC)Reply

Quotation of Peking University professor Pan Wei's lecture

I moved this article (initially names Dang Guo) by accident, now I request a discussion to move it back it's old name to avoid neutrality issue. Arilang talk 02:38, 13 February 2011 (UTC)Reply

In my opinion, this article should be redirected to Single-party state, and the content of Dangguo can be moved into the Single-party state, History of China and Politics of China.--WWbreadOpen Your Mouth?) 13:09, 15 February 2011 (UTC)Reply

Support This article is all about China, but in general the term "party-state" is associated with Leninism. Apparently, Lenin's preferred term was "vanguard party". This could be the Chinese subarticle of "Vanguard party." "Party State" is not really the same as "single party state" since the idea is that every large organization should have a dual leadership, one person with technical expertise and the other a confirmed party loyalist. The party controls the Chinese army? Tell that to Zhao Ziyang. Kauffner (talk) 09:06, 5 March 2011 (UTC)Reply

Comment I agree with Kauffner. Dang Guo is more than single party state. In Dang Guo, the omnipresent Party (Dang) owns everything, and control everything, including the military. Whereas in Single-party state, the party is just a party. Arilang talk 09:38, 5 March 2011 (UTC)Reply

  • Seeing that you moved it in error, you could just ask any admin to move it back to its previous namespace without going through this RM, unless you believe it should be another name. --Ohconfucius ¡digame! 10:23, 7 March 2011 (UTC)Reply
