Heat years

edit

I remember him being well-loved during his time with the Heat... he was our best sixth man by FAR and would clock significant time in every game, and when he would come in, we'd all cheer gleefully, and he would bring down the house with those amazing swooshing threes... he had a great FGP, was reliable and impressive with an all-star play style, and was as well-loved as any of our starters. My point is, shouldn't we include that time period in this article? 76.26.52.172 (talk) 04:18, 7 May 2012 (UTC)Reply

pronunciation

edit

What is with the pronunciation of his surname? Is that the normal one for that kind of name? It does not feel right to me, though I am not a native English speaker. 85.217.20.204 (talk) 12:06, 24 June 2015 (UTC)Reply

Yugoslav

edit

Majerle's great-grandfather Frank Majerle Sr. emigrated from Yugoslavia in 1901 at age 20. Frank Sr. settled in Haring, Michigan and married American-born Anna Suhorepec (anglicised to Suhropetz) whose parents were also from Yugoslavia, more specifically Slovenia.
