edit@Rwendland, your source here doesn't say "the people" (as a whole), it refers to people. I would suggest dropping the word "the", like the source did. TaBaZzz (talk) 20:56, 31 December 2023 (UTC)
- The 2nd cite doesn't use "the" in its headline or intro, but it is in the quote given in 3rd para: ".. is showing for the Palestinian people and is actually showing for these horrible, inhuman animals ..". It seems to me to be correct to use "the Palestinian people" in the article as used in his quote. I had wondered if he had simply misspoke meaning to say "Hamas", but if you replace "the Palestinian people" with "Hamas" in what he said, the first bit no longer really makes sense; and AFAICS he has never made a statement saying he misspoke and corrected himself.
