Dan BucșăDan Bucșa – There's always been a debate about this player's name, as it can be seen in this page's history. Recently, I've received an email from Guru51 who claims to have a copy of this player's ID where it is obvious that his real name is Bucşa, not Bucşă. Guru51 can provide the copy to whoever needs the proof. There are websites that use the name Bucşa [1], [2]. Eddie Nixon (talk) 09:22, 6 June 2013 (UTC)Reply

  • Mild support to proposed name, one fewer awkward diacritic. Red Slash 02:22, 7 June 2013 (UTC)Reply
Per WP:BLP "we must get the article right" I hope any RM closer would ignore such a random and irresponsible comment. In ictu oculi (talk) 00:44, 13 June 2013 (UTC)Reply
  • Support Both spellings/both pronuciations exist per Iorgu Iordan Dicționar al numelor de familie românești 1983 Page 83 " Bucşa: acelaşi cu Bucşă. 'Bucşan(u) (n. top. Bucşa, cu sus. -anfu). Bucşă: bucşă, „o piesă de fier la roata carului"." and in this case the name does appear to be pronounced with long -a "Bukshaa" not "Bukshi", since it is usually written Bucșa‎ in Romanian sources. Hopefully what is written reflects the way his name is announced on Romanian TV. In ictu oculi (talk) 00:44, 13 June 2013 (UTC)Reply
