Untitled
editI know my name looks suspiscious, but I am not Dan Brodbeck, He is, however, my brother. I saw a number of red links to him, so I thought I would created a page.Dbrodbeck (talk) 16:26, 21 April 2008 (UTC)
Speedy Deletion
editObviously I will go with any consensus. However, There were a number of pages with redlinks to Dan Brodbeck, including the highschool he attended where he has been listed as a notable alumnus for over a year (I think). He has produced a number of notable artists, including Dolores O'Roirdan of the Cranberries. That album was nominated for several awards. He also produced the Gandharvas album A Soap Bubble and Inertia which, indeed, has its own wikipedia page. All that said, as I noted, consensus rules here, so whatever people think, I will, of course abide by. Perhaps the following google search will help some people one way or another: http://www.google.com/search?client=safari&rls=en-us&q=dan+brodbeck+producer&ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8 Dbrodbeck (talk) 19:59, 21 April 2008 (UTC)
- He is also listed on the wikipedia page for OIART as a notable alum.Dbrodbeck (talk) 20:27, 21 April 2008 (UTC)
- There will be no further talk of deleting this article page. He won Juno Awards of 2010 - Dan Brodbeck, "Apple Of My Eye" and "Be Careful" (Dolores O’Riordan, No Baggage). That satisfies Wikipedia:Notability (music). Argolin (talk) 04:00, 3 May 2010 (UTC)
COI template, and a reference
editI think we can remove the COI template, others have contributed to the article. I have also found a reference for Dan producing No Baggage http://entertainment.stv.tv/showbiz/97805-former-cranberries-singer-preps-second-solo-album/ . If someone could add this, and could remove the COI template (if people think that is sensible) that would be cool. Dbrodbeck (talk) 15:13, 27 August 2009 (UTC)
- With the 2010 Juno win on O'Riordan's recent album, notability would seem clearly established now. Some cleanup and referencing was done, but further expansion awaits. Dl2000 (talk) 03:20, 19 April 2010 (UTC)
- Thanks so much. Dbrodbeck (talk) 11:22, 19 April 2010 (UTC)
photo etc
editI can upload a photo if someone would like (I see one has been requested). He is, after all, my brother...... I also know his birth day etc. So, if anyone wants that stuff, let me know. Dbrodbeck (talk) 04:49, 8 April 2012 (UTC)
- I would think this birthday should at the least be included. Provided you can suitable reference it for verifiability purposes. And sadly, that doesn't mean asking your mother. (Kidding, of course.) oknazevad (talk) 02:55, 6 January 2014 (UTC)
