Fair use rationale for Image:DanAbrams.jpg
Image:DanAbrams.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Ethnicity
Why is Dan Abram's ethnicity even mentioned in his bio info? Do articles on the Founding Fathers refer to them as "English" in ethnicity? I don't understand the rational. It seems a bit demeaning to me. Danwaggoner (talk) 00:21, 10 November 2014 (UTC)
Clean-up in Aisle 6
I cleaned up the few 'cite' and 'when' requests as well as repairing a web-link attribution in Ref.#11. Would somebody please review the changes and post a response here if the work is substandard,as I don't usually engage with [citation needed] calls, but thought I might try, given the backlog? Changed First Paragraph to add current projects and include relevant information about book
Editors have made changes after the first time I tried to update this intro. Please write on the talk page to discuss any issues you may find with my edits instead of changing them - I have included credible sources, and want nothing but the information to be updated and accurate.

Spinoff media
There are a bunch of drafts in queue for:
Please discuss here whether there's enough notability for its own article. AngusWOOF (bark • sniff) 03:28, 14 May 2019 (UTC)
- I don't think Law & Crime should be expanded at this time. I looked at their video play numbers on Youtube and their Roku app download numbers and it doesn't appear their viewership numbers merit a page of its own right now. Their website receives only around 50,000 page views per day. I think the Law & Crime section on the current page could be expanded. Unless some hard numbers can show it merits a page, I would say expand and redirect Law & Crime to it. I don't think every startup merits a page until it holds it own when it is a startup in a media organization the size of Abrams, which already has a page. I will admit it is a formidable creation of Abrams and it has potential and may merit a page in the future. That is why I suggest expanding the section, grabbing the page name and redirecting to this page. P37307 (talk) 04:28, 14 May 2019 (UTC)
Whiskey Raiders & Winery Purchase
How can we go about adding a section for Whiskey Raiders under Abrams Media without violating Wiki rules? Whiskey Raiders is a site launched under the Abrams Media umbrella similar to the other sites noted under that section.
Additionally, can we add a "Winery" section under Mr. Abrams' Career section? Mr. Abrams recently purchased a vineyard and being a winery owner is a new business of his / part of his carrer. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2020AM2009 (talk • contribs) 23:52, 1 February 2021 (UTC)
- If there are better references available, beyond simple publicity, they would help. --Hipal (talk) 17:31, 2 February 2021 (UTC)
Are Variety and The Hollywood Reporter considered publicity? These are publications reporting on the launches and are noted on Wikipedia's perennial sources page as being a reliable source. If you could please help me figure out what type of sources would be efficient to elicit an addition, as wouldn't any source that reported on the launch then be considered publicity? My proposal is to add a Whiskey Raiders section to the Abrams Media portion with text along the following lines: "On December 7, 2020, Abrams launched Whiskey Raiders, an online resource for veteran and novice drinkers alike. The site uses a proprietary algorithm to aggregate online whiskey reviews and provide one average score from 50-100 for each rated whiskey. Abrams Media acquired t8ke.review, a spirits review site run by spirits critic Jay West, to launch the site. West is now managing editor of the Whiskey Raiders site." The launch of this site was reported on by variety, but if this is considered publicity I'm not sure how any source discussing the site's creation would be efficient, besides maybe the website itself? Variety Whiskey Raiders About I believe everything in the above proposed text is neutrally written and just an objective description of what the website is. To me it reads along the same lines as any of the other site descriptions on Mr.Abram's page. Is there something I'm missing here that makes this section different?
For the winery, would it be possible to add a new section under Mr.Abrams' Career area? Something along the lines of: "In December 2020, Abrams purchased Laurel Lake Vineyard, a winery located on the North Fork of Long Island. Abrams has teamed up with sommelier Vanessa Price to rebrand and relaunch the vineyard in Summer 2021." Sources include: Newsday (a Long Island newspaper), The Hollywood Reporter, The Real Deal, and Behind the Hedges If this is not enough to elicit its own section yet, what about adding one line to the end of his beginning bio paragraph that simply states "In December, 2020 Abrams purchased Laurel Lake Vineyards located on the North Fork of Long Island."?2020AM2009 (talk) 19:41, 4 February 2021 (UTC)
- Could you respond to the concerns on your talk page, User_talk:2020AM2009?
- Briefest mention is probably due, but Wikipedia is not a forum for publicity. If anything of significance happens beyond the announcements, then they should be revisited.
- The entire section on Abrams Media needs to be rewritten. It's mostly announcements, which have little encyclopedic value while being heavily promotional. Adding more of the same just makes the problem worse, while inviting more of the same. --Hipal (talk) 21:13, 4 February 2021 (UTC)
