Damal chennappa nayakkar was tamil speaking nayakkar of vanniya caste.

kalahasthi damara nayidu has nothing to do with chennnai history. changing history is like changing the father name for history and insult to the kalhasthi family.

damal chennappa nayakkar was mentioned in his son damal venkatappa nayakkar AD 1625 (inscription A.R.NO 616 of 1904 OF SOUTH INDIAN INSCRIPTIONS) belongs to tara gotra. chennappa nayakkar was son of one venkatappa nayakkar and his son name also venkatappa nayakkar. (south indian inscriptions volume 17) [1]

damara chennappa nayidu of kalahasthi family was mentioned in nellore district inscriptions -(AD 1579-1580) kanigir no-15 (kattakindinapalli -hanuman temple inscriptions) belongs Iniyala gotra and son of varada nayanimagaru and grand son of damera dharma nayanimagaru. this is the history of kalahasthi nayakas mentioned by themselfs in the inscriptions. Now can any one claim some body's father as their's like tamil speaking damal tamil nayakkar history by changing the father and forefathers of telugu speaking kalahasthi nayakkar's for mere claim of chennai city as telugu speaking people history.

go through the original history of both family inscriptions and claim the history. quoting the books written in 1800 will not help calming chennai belongs to telugu will be a joke and insult to the family of kalahsthi zameen.

It is reasonably well-known that the Telugu Nayakas that went to rule in Tamilnadu were equally comfortable with Tamil. They were bilingual. So fighting over whether they were actually Telugu or Tamil is quite pointless.

Your edits have other serious problems. You have deleted/modified existing sourced content without explanation. You have added unnecessary red links. Your content suffers from poor grammar and capitalisation norms. And your citations are bare urls. When you add new content to a page, you are required to maintain its WP:Citation style.
