Hello all, and thank you for contributing to this school site. I'm part of the Wikipedia:WikiProject_Schools/Assessment team, and, as it has recently been editted, then I'm reviewing this page. I'm currently giving it a grade of start on the Wikipedia 1.0 Assessment Scale and an importance of Low on this importance scale.

My reasoning is as follows: This article is extensive, but not well referenced. This is a very good start article but needs a bit more to make B. Low importance as claims to fame are not cited. The article mentions local papers but does not reference them. See the ref tag Hope this helps Victuallers 18:43, 7 March 2007 (UTC)Reply

New Headmaster

edit

The new headmaster has been selected, I was informed by a member of staff, the new headmaster is Thomas Skelton —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 82.20.21.102 (talk) 13:01, 11 March 2007 (UTC).Reply

Unimpressed with primary-sourcing.

edit

I removed the "and one of the highest achieving schools in Northern Ireland" from the introductory paragraph. Although I know this is probably the case (I went there!), at the same time, using primary research, such as the school's prospectus, is not NPOV - if someone wises to reinstate this phrase, please use a third party reference. WikiProject class rating

edit

This article was automatically assessed because at least one WikiProject had rated the article as start, and the rating on other projects was brought up to start class. BetacommandBot 16:03, 10 November 2007 (UTC)Reply

It's unbelievably massive, and half of the stuff on here is complete nonsense...~Ttony21 (talk) 20:31, 24 June 2008 (UTC)Reply

New deputy head

edit

It seems that my USEFUL information was reverted because it was "vandalism"

Joe Slater is no longer deputy head, he is a part-time chemistry teacher now, his replacement as deputy head is Nichola Madden. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 78.105.248.94 (talk) 20:26, 20 September 2008 (UTC)Reply

Cyberbot II has detected that page contains external links that have either been globally or locally blacklisted. Links tend to be blacklisted because they have a history of being spammed, or are highly innappropriate for Wikipedia. This, however, doesn't necessarily mean it's spam, or not a good link. If the link is a good link, you may wish to request whitelisting by going to the request page for whitelisting. If you feel the link being caught by the blacklist is a false positive, or no longer needed on the blacklist, you may request the regex be removed or altered at the blacklist request page. If the link is blacklisted globally and you feel the above applies you may request to whitelist it using the before mentioned request page, or request it's removal, or alteration, at the request page on meta. When requesting whitelisting, be sure to supply the link to be whitelisted and wrap the link in nowiki tags. The whitelisting process can take its time so once a request has been filled out, you may set the invisible parameter on the tag to true. Please be aware that the bot will replace removed tags, and will remove misplaced tags regularly.
