Anyone interested in this article...

From back when I turned the original, bare-bones, crappy article into something decent, up until now when a couple of dedicated contributors have formatted and rewritten the article to be far better, and with all the little edits in between, I think it has become quite a good and informative article. But is there anything we're missing? We need the song list for the Kirby medley - there's a song or two in there I don't know, so someone else needs to do it. But apart from that, what can be added? Would screenshots be a decent idea (some game articles have a section for them, some don't)? --Impossible 10:15, 4 February 2006 (UTC)

Actually, what we need is the songs to be reordered. The entire Request Selection list is out of order, and some of the normal game is as well. I actually found someone complaining that "Rewrite sounds nothing like it's supposed to" over at GameFAQs, because the list is wrong, and Rewrite is NOT the first song on the list, Onegai! Change back to original name

Since there's no apparent sign of the game being released in the West - over one and a half years after the original release - I think there's no point in calling the article "Jam with the Band". I presonally found it quite confusing seeing this article at first as I had totally forgot about the planned US release. --Zilog Jones 16:49, 8 July 2006 (UTC)

I moved it to Daigasso! Band-Brothers as (i) my proposal was not opposed, and (ii) as the box suggests there is a hyphen. I've tried to fix any redirects, though some double-redirects may still exist. --Zilog Jones 09:36, 18 July 2006 (UTC)

What the hell? I moved it to Daigasso! Band Brothers months ago, who keeps moving it back? Jam With the Band IS NOT COMING OUT. It's a tentative title that was used two years ago, and even if it DID come out in the US it probably wouldn't be called that. It's not a confirmed title, nor does the game have a confirmed release. It's called Daigasso! Band Brothers, and for the time being that's it's only name, so let the article be named properly. Mother on the NES was going to be released as EarthBound, but we don't call it that, do we? Everyone seems to agree that it should be called by its proper name (no hyphen, though, look in the manual IIRC). --Impossible 02:19, 14 August 2006 (UTC)

Sorry, I have only seen the box and game card - not the manual. Haven't played it in a while so can't remember what it said in the game (or even if it had it in Roman in the game at all). A Link to the Past, I dunno what you're up to. --Zilog Jones 15:03, 29 August 2006 (UTC)

Just to clarify: The "manual" is actually made up of three posters, which on one side have the art used in the game menus, and on the other have information about one of the three modes. At the top of the single player poster is the line 'What is "Daigasso! Band Brothers"?' You can also see it spelt this way on the official site here [1]. In addition, I've never seen it officially or unofficially referred to with a hyphen anywhere. I think that dot is just for decoration, and I'm going to move it to the proper name. --Impossible 10:26, 2 September 2006 (UTC)

Thanks, I kept trying to do that and couldn't for some reason I forgot. Yes, it's officially not hyphenated, there are heaps of places it's written in English without the hyphen on Nintendo's official site. Hopefully it won't be changed again. --Impossible 07:30, 28 February 2007 (UTC)

Enough with the hyphen

Why the hell is it hyphenated AGAIN? This is ridiculous. It's not called Daigasso! Band-Brothers. The manual and the web site both spell it without a hyphen. [2] [3] [4] [5] [6] Is that enough evidence? It isn't Band-Brothers. ANYWHERE. Band and Brothers are two different words regardless, so the only logical English spelling would be to keep it that way. What's on the box isn't a hyphen, it's that simple. It makes no sense to keep the article under a name that isn't officially used, anywhere, ever. Oh, and another thing you might notice is that EVERY SINGLE REFERENCE LINK uses "Band Brothers" as well, despite them all being called "Band-Brothers" thanks to one person to deciding they know better, and are entitled to correct the rest of the goddamn world.
