Airline Designator

It is impossible for this airline to have the same IATA & ICAO designator also the same Call Sign as Astar Air Cargo. So i deleted it. Jerry1Gman (talk) 19:53, 15 June 2008 (UTC)

Proposing a rewrite

DHL Aviation is not an airline, look it up in ICAO. This article needs to continue going in the direction of "DHL in Aviation". Summarizing all the many airlines they deal with and hurdles they have gone though.
Also, Norwood, Tom and Wegg, John who wrote (2002) "North American Airlines Handbook" got it all wrong regarding this topic. I suggest using some sort of recognized sources i.e. IATA FAA.gov and ICAO or even the airlines' respective websites.Jerry1Gman (talk) 11:45, 17 June 2008 (UTC)

Apologies for the necropost, but since this is still under Active Discussions... In case someone decides to take this idea back up in the future: I dislike the idea of changing this to a disambiguation page. I like having one joined page for all DHL airline-related information (especially incidents and accidents), as well as the individual subsidiary pages for further detail. It is not an airline so it doesnt have an IATA/ICAO code, if you follow the links on the page to the operating airlines you can find the codes. MilborneOne (talk) 19:04, 22 September 2013 (UTC)

Reorganize incident list?

I'd like to enter for consideration changing the incident list format to be like the table layout for UPS and FedEx, with an added column for the DHL subsidiary. Reasons for: Consistency between pages for the major package airlines. Places information in sortable tables Reasons against: Tables are much harder to read on mobile. UPS and FedEx only have single-plane incidents (making for a neat fatalities/occupants column) whereas DHL had the Überlingen crash, which doesn't fit neatly into that framework. Its OK as it is doesnt really need a table for small number of incidents - although strictly speaking none of these happened to "DHL Aviation" which is not really an airline they should be in the individual airline pages rather than here. MilborneOne (talk) 19:54, 5 August 2022 (UTC)
