The translation used here, and in all the pages that link to it, is wrong. "German Railway History Society" would be the correct translation. "Gesellschaft" means "society", whether in the form of an association or in the meaning of society as a whole; while many German for-profit companies do have "Gesellschaft" in their legal description (much like the French "Societé Anonyme"), it is always qualified in such cases with the relevant legal form ("limited liability society," "joint stock society," etc.) — Preceding unsigned comment added by 99.203.49.32 (talk) 00:12, 6 October 2020 (UTC)Reply
