editNice start, never even heard of this until today, but this article needs a lot of fill-in. Marking with tech-stub template.Radiooperator 18:13, 25 May 2007 (UTC)
Also, no one ever seems to cover whether or not this stuff can be cut, in the case of a knife. The focus seems to be entirely on the fact that sudden, extreme force causes it to harden instantly, then return to its pliable state. Any information on this regard would be an excellent edition. 204.17.179.2 20:47, 1 October 2007 (UTC)Ken

editJust did a bit of grammatical & layout clean up, plus seemed to have a bit of marketing speak ('actively incorporated' my shiny metal behind) which I changed to normal human language. As to the above question - I would guess little or no protection from cutting in current form; think of the personal shields in Dune, maybe? ;-) Surrealknife 05:46, 16 October 2007 (UTC)

editThis page still reads a bit too much like marketing/advertising to me. Any independent scientific research available on this material? Comments by material experts? 134.58.253.56 (talk) 14:22, 14 January 2013 (UTC)
d30 nano?
editI remember hearing about a material like this under development a couple of years ago. Does d30 involve any nano-materials? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Cronked (talk • contribs) 18:26, 5 October 2007 (UTC)

editThis seems dubious, the pictures in the Russian wiki don't match up with the description here. But I can't read russian, and i find this hilarious, so I'll let somebody else delete it. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 76.89.178.237 (talk) 21:23, 20 August 2010 (UTC)
- At the Russian wiki, in the interlanguage links (lefthand sidebar), the link back to the English site is pointing to Silly Putty. Hence, I've removed that sentence from our article. Thanks for the thoughts :) -- Quiddity (talk) 23:16, 20 August 2010 (UTC)
intelligent molecules
editThe following sounds more like marketing-speak: "It is made of intelligent molecules and is thus categorized into smart fabrics and intelligent textiles" — Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.147.14.23 (talk) 16:14, 17 September 2013 (UTC)
no mention of "Non-Newtonian Fluids"
