Article name? edit

"In the world" makes for a pretty strange article title, in my opinion. Qqqqqq (talk) 21:42, 3 November 2008 (UTC)Reply

yeah, wouldn't "around the world" (or something similar) make more sense? Missdipsy (talk) 10:50, 4 November 2008 (UTC)Reply

I think this page has been astroturfed by "king of Donair" Halifax. In actuality, Döner is popular throughout Canada. In St. Catharines, Ontario, there are a number of Döner restaurants that serve the dish both on a plate or as a Shawarma. Since Döner Kebab generally refers to the meat that is used to make a Shawarma too, so I call astroturfing. I've been to Toronto and Montreal and St. Catharines and London, Canada and Halifax and although some restaurants call their middle eastern bbq beef sandwich beef shawarma (ie: T.O.) and some call it Döner Kebab (St. Catharines and London, Canada) it's the same darn sandwich. If anything, the Halifax Döner has more in common with Gyros than with Shawarma or Döner. It's a meatloaf in a pita dish much like freezer "Chicago Gryos".
