Cystine vs. Cysteine? edit
Is it correct to refer to Cystine as an amino acid? Isn't it an amino-acid derivative? (Being formed by two Cysteine amino acids?) Perhaps I am confused, but it would be nice to see this point clarified in the article. --Dan|(talk) 09:12, 1 July 2007 (UTC)

Pronunciation edit
An IPA pronunciation guide would be nice here. Seeing that cystine and cysteine are both things that exist, I checked the cysteine page and it does have one over there. Unfortunately in my British accent I don't see how cystine could be pronounced differently, but I'm sure there must be some difference, it would be extremely impractical if there weren't. I imagine that Americans pronounce cystine to (half-)rhyme with "mine", which I assume is why there is not already an IPA guide on this page.
