Comments edit

This entry has a solid foundation for references. All sources are properly referenced. I found the web section very detailed, including structure, position, size of capture, and silk production. However, this section appears to be a little long. If you can divide it into several subsections, then this section can be more intuitive to readers. Some sections are short, for example the prey section. I found a paper about prey discrimination of Cyclosa turbinate. It is a great supplement to this section. — Preceding unsigned comment added by ShawnXiaoWiki29Sept (talkcontribs) 21:51, 1 November 2020 (UTC)Reply

This entry is very well organized and very well referenced. I think it is well written, although, I did some punctuation stuffs. Some of the species names were not in Italic; I put them all in Italic. Your entry is very detailed – and I really like that –, however, you should try to consolidate the information you have and make a paragraph out of them, in that way it would be easier to read. I went through your references and realize that some of them have these “red flags”, I fixed that. Also, there are some of you references that do not have the link, you should add them. Lastly, as I said earlier, you entry is really detailed, and I think that you can split the information you have in some of you section to create new subsections. Hi! I thought that there were a lot of good working parts of this article. There were a lot of good, solid information that were very well referenced. I enjoyed reading your section on webs and so I rearranged parts of the section to help make it flow a little bit better. I think it may just be a preference thing, but I personally thought that having the information in a more paragraph format would help people to understand and skim more quickly (if needed). I would make are to edit your "lead" or "description" part and include parts about your spider's web making process. I think if you add more information about that, it could help to draw even more attention to your spider. In addition, I would further explain what "playing dead" for these spiders mean, add hyperlinks to uncommon words like "diurnal" and "stabilimenta". Also, the last sentence under the reproduction section may need another citation. Thanks for sharing and writing this article. Was super fun to read and very easy to look at!
