Please note Paul Virilio's repeated use of the term cybersect to describe Heaven's Gate, now added to the page. Thank you.

I made a series of changes.--61.63.9.229 (talk) 15:23, 28 February 2009 (UTC)Reply

Can we call NASA and every corporation a Cybersect?

Answer: only if you consider NASA and other corporation employees "adherents." —Preceding unsigned comment added by 89.243.162.239 (talk) 09:12, 24 August 2009 (UTC)Reply

In a nutshell, cybersectarianism is people using computers to communicate with other people who share similar opinions. If this is true, I should invent a term, and a Wikipedia article, to describe early Christian communication via letters. Epistosectarianism! Got it! Am I famous yet?
