Cushing has eliminated its library and I reported on it accurately with references. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.41.38.234 (talk) 13:54, September 21, 2009‎

Not yet, and I've given more references. This isn't just a Boston Globe thing. The facts and the headmaster's statements will speak for themselves.Yngvadottir (talk) 19:21, 21 September 2009 (UTC)Reply

It's not a library without books. The headmaster has made it clear how he feels about books. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.99.213.211 (talk) 01:56, September 22, 2009‎

Yes, but it's a two-year process. It is not accurate to say that it has been done. The books are not all gone. Also it's important not to suggest that this is just the Boston globe saying this. The headmaster's update supports it as being factual. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Yngvadottir (talkcontribs) 11:31, September 22, 2009‎

Yes he certainly has! I wonder how many universities are interested in a school that has no required reading for it's students. I guess thats whay it has such distinguished alumni like the WWE wrestler. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.41.38.234 (talk) 12:58, December 22, 2009‎

It's extremely rude to remove other people's statements from talk pages. It makes others less likely to accept what you are saying as valid.
We are putting the same info into the article. But putting it in in a balanced, neutral way that lets the information speak for itself will not only make it far less likely that it will simply be deleted by other editors; it also causes readers to take it seriously. If it's over-emotional and/or just presented as something some newspaper said in an editorial, people are likely to discount it as some vendetta. Just as they would discount a glowing report on the school that looked as if it had been written by a P.R. firm. Plus we have to be accurate. Not all the books have been removed yet. Or do you have a citation saying the process has advanced since the last news articles cited? Yngvadottir (talk) 18:23, 22 December 2009 (UTC)Reply

If i removed anything from the talk page it was an accident--my apologies. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.41.38.234 (talk) 19:48, 22 December 2009 (UTC)Reply
