Changes
I've made several changes to the organization of the roster that seemed pretty obvious. If anyone disagrees, of course, feel free to discuss your reasons why here.
I moved Austin Aries and Roderick Strong from Enhancement Talent to X Division, as it's highly doubtful either will be used as enhancement - particularly Aries, who just won a high-profile PPV match.
I removed Delirious and Kid Romeo from the page entirely, as neither has appeared for the company recently and neither is listed on TNA's official roster page.
That left the Enhancement Talent section entirely empty, so I moved some wrestlers who have mostly been used in that role in TNA (at least recently) to that section. These include:
- Apolo - Sonny Siaki - Jerrelle Clark - Cassidy Riley - Mikey Batts
In some cases, it's debatable whether these wrestlers belong in the Enhancement section - Apolo has mostly been used as enhancement, but recently pinned Elix Skipper on Impact, and Cassidy Riley has begun an angle of sorts with Raven. Siaki has been pushed in the past, but has been a jobber to the stars in recent months.
69.217.127.66 20:53, 18 September 2005 (UTC)
- Aries and Strong aren't yet full-time TNA employees. They've worked one and two matches in the last several months respectively. None of your list can really be described as pure enhancement talent, as all of them have a contract and a character of some sort. McPhail 21:25, 18 September 2005 (UTC)
- True enough. Perhaps the enhancement talent section should just be removed, with wrestlers moved to the heavyweight or X sections. 69.217.127.66 21:39, 18 September 2005 (UTC)
David Young´s real last name is not Santo, it´s Williams. At least he stated that in an interview with a german site(genickbruch.com). He was just called Santo after his trainer at a minor show some years ago.
P.J. Polaco
Until TNA says that P.J. Polaco has signed a long-term deal, he should remain off the roster. His appearance at Genesis should be regarded as one-time-only until we officially hear otherwise. --Kitch 14:30, 16 November 2005 (UTC)
Planet Jarrett
Just out of curiosity, is Planet Jarrett an official stable? I know all the wrestlers deemed to be members are allies, but no one really ever refers to them as a stable. The way I understand it is the term "Planet Jarrett" isn't used by TNA anymore, I believe it was said one time a while back by an opponent in a derogatory way. I have read the article on Planet Jarrett and it doesn't give me the answer I'm looking for. JFred 00:29, 28 February 2006 (UTC)
Is it just me, or is Planet Jarrett being referred to as Jarrett's Army now? --JFred 00:36, 30 March 2006 (UTC)
- TNA seem reluctant to commit to a formal name for the stable. I've thought about moving Planet Jarrett, but TNA have used both "Jeff Jarrett's Army" and "Jarrett's Army" interchangeably, so I've held off for the time being. McPhail 19:30, 25 May 2006 (UTC)
Shark Boy and Norman Smiley
I've attempted adding this before and it was deleted...
...they are an official tag team. Since Norman Smiley debuted I've never seen either one in a single match, nor any sort of tag match without the other. Now, they should be added to the stables and tag teams section.--Sentinel boy 01:05, 13 April 2006 (UTC)
- Added. Your attempts were probably deleted because they weren't done properly. Also, Norman Smiley's bio on TNA's website says that those two are a regular tag team. Even though Shark Boy recently teamed with Chase Stevens, it was because both their partners (Smiley and Andy Douglas) are selling the "injuries" they suffered at the hands of Scott Steiner. So there you have it folks, Smiley and Shark Boy are an official tag team. Oh, and please use the signature function when leaving a message here in talk. Thanks. --JFred 00:44, 13 April 2006 (UTC)
- I added my signature above, forgot to before, sorry. Just curious, where does the Shark Boy and Chase Stevens teaming up come from? Is that for future Impact results or Xplosion? Because Norman Smiley received his "injury" just at the last show.--Sentinel boy 01:07, 13 April 2006 (UTC)
- It was for an Xplosion taping at the same taping Smiley got "injured". I don't get Xplosion here in Canada so I don't know when it aired. Those two also teamed with Cassidy Riley at the past taping on Monday. As you can tell, I read the spoilers. --JFred 01:37, 13 April 2006 (UTC)
- Why did they disappear again? Just because Smiley is kayfabe injured does not mean they have been broken up.
Actually, Norman Smiley has been taken off the roster page over at TNA's official website, that is why that tag team disappeared. --JFred 00:44, 29 April 2006 (UTC)
Should be a new section
You all must have heard of the X-Cup, right? Right now there should be an entire list of Wrestlers that are used in the X-Division Tournament.
Also, you might want to include Lex Luger, Buff Bagwell on a list, for they will make guest appearances, and Luger was part of TNA.
- There is already a separate article devoted to the X Cup, with roster lists of each team. Plus the tournament will be over in a few weeks at the Sacrifice PPV. With respect to Luger and Bagwell, those are one time appearances so they shouldn't be listed. --JFred 01:31, 5 May 2006 (UTC)
Yeah, but Puma was signed to a long-term contract, I think. Maybe a new LAX member?
- I heard that too, and I was the one who added him to the page, but TNA hasn't confirmed, he hasn't appeared in TNA outside the X Cup, and he is not in TNAWrestling.com's roster page, so we should leave him off for now. --JFred 04:36, 4 June 2006 (UTC)
One last thing, I heard Jeff Hardy is not under contract anymore, even though he's on the TNA wrestling site. Does this mean that he is going to stay on the inactive list?
- Since TNA hasn't confirmed his release/contract expiration, we should leave him under inactive. If TNA removes him from their roster page, then it is safe for us to do the same. --JFred 23:33, 15 June 2006 (UTC)
Ok, a few last things for me. The one guy Samoa Joe was supposed to face when Steiner stopped the show, wouldn't he go onto the Occasional Wrestler list? Also, Gail Kim came out with Steiner during his KOTM Qualifier, so isn't she the manager of him as well?
- I don't even know why we have that section, it's like listing all the indy jobbers that make occasional appearances for WWE. They aren't even under contract to TNA. As for Gail Kim, we could condense it and say she is the manager of Planet Jarrett instead of listing each individual wrestler she comes out with. --JFred 07:13, 18 June 2006 (UTC)
Yeah, I kind of hate the fact that we have a place dedicated to occasional wrestlers... You forgot to add Jim Cornette as the New Face of TNA... Also, the NWA:TNA Championship seems to be up for grabs.
- I added Jim Cornette on Sunday, but an anon editor must have taken him off without me knowing. He's readded now. And the NWA Championship thing is on the main TNA article page. --JFred 18:20, 20 June 2006 (UTC)
How long does a wrestler take to be an Inactive wrestler, because I haven't seen Hoyt, Bentley, and others wrestle in a long while... Is the list just for suspensions and temporary firings?
Monty Brown
Since he appeared on iMPACT! should he be off the inactive list? He is a contender to be in the King of the Mountain match.Yugioh73036 14:45, 19 May 2006 (UTC)Yugioh73036
Stables
The Stables seem to lack any sense of order right now. I'm currently altering the order of them so that it's at least semi-organized, but if anyone has any better ideas for orders than what I put, feel free to discuss them here. -Darryl Hamlin 21:57, 24 May 2006 (UTC)
- I like the leaders being listed first, otherwise, everyone else should be listed alphabetical by last name, that's just the standard we go by. --JFred 22:53, 24 May 2006 (UTC)
- I don't know why I put it by first name-ish.... I'm probably going to have to take a break from Wiki-editing for a little bit. -Darryl Hamlin 06:13, 25 May 2006 (UTC)
The Naturals
Is Shane Douglas with The Naturals?Yugioh73036 00:06, 14 June 2006 (UTC)Yugioh73036
- Not 'til Thursday. --JFred 00:09, 14 June 2006 (UTC)
Brother Runt
Why is runt on the heavyweight division list. TNA's website says he is in the X Division. Plus why would a 135 lb. guy be on the list in the first place. - User:Packratt200
I think he should be located in the 'B' section, as putting him in the R's implies that 'Runt' is his last name. - Anonymous
- He has not wrestled in the X Division since debuting; all his matches have been against heavyweights. McPhail 00:11, 23 June 2006 (UTC)
Anon, he is listed under "R" just like Brother Ray is listed under "R" and Brother Devon under "D". TJ Spyke 04:54, 30 June 2006 (UTC)
AJ and Daniels
Should their neutralizer be in the stable with them?--Yugioh73036 17:01, 23 June 2006 (UTC)Yugioh73036
I think so but they would have to have a stable name if it's gonna be 3 people. -User:Packratt200
Cassidy Riley
TNA has removed him for their roster page on their website. I know he was contemplating retirement. Anyone know his official status with TNA? --Dubhagan 14:37, 27 June 2006 (UTC)
He is still with TNA.
- Yeah, I saw that his profile has been readded to TNA's website, which is why he got readded back here. --Dubhagan 05:07, 16 July 2006 (UTC)
Andy Douglas
There seems to be some dispute as to whether he's a heavyweight or in the X-Division. Just because he's in a tag team doesn't automatically make him a heavyweight. When was his last singles match in TNA and who was it against. I'm not sure he's wrestled a singles match, excluding those that involved a tag team feud. Personally, since Chase is considered X-Division, and both Andy and Chase have that high flying, X style, I would be inclined to include Andy in the X-Division. Thoughts? --Dubhagan 17:51, 30 June 2006 (UTC)
- I Agree. And Someone should put Samoa Joe back in the X Division list.- User:Packratt200
- Actually, Joe is now fighting for the #1 contenders spot for the heavyweight title at the next PPV, making him a heavyweight now. --Dubhagan 18:26, 1 July 2006 (UTC)
- Douglas's last singles matches in TNA was against Bobby Roode. [1] McPhail 17:44, 2 July 2006 (UTC)

From Obsessed With Wrestling's website (thanks McPhail, I'd forgotten about that website, even though it's in my bookmarks):
- January 7, 2005 - TNA Impact: Petey Williams w/Scott D'Amore defeated Andy Douglas w/Chase Stevens..
- September 9, 2005 - TNA Impact: Chris Harris defeated Andy Douglas and Eric Young in a Triple Threat match..
- May 25, 2006 - TNA iMPACT: Bobby Roode defeated Andy Douglas (Shane Douglas again had his eye on the Naturals)..
I guess he can be kept heavyweight then, though I'm sure others will have a tendency to keep putting Andy and Chase together in the same division. Personally, I don't care anymore. --Dubhagan 19:13, 2 July 2006 (UTC)
Team Canada
They might stay together?--Yugioh73036 03:23, 7 July 2006 (UTC)Yugioh73036
- They have an all or nothing match next week. --Dubhagan 03:28, 7 July 2006 (UTC)
- Oh ok. Cool--Yugioh73036 03:35, 7 July 2006 (UTC)Yugioh73036
Paparazzi Productions
Ok, this is confusing me. TNA is referring to Shelley and Devine as The Paparazzi, but their "company" is referred to as Paparazzi Productions. What name should their article be at? --Dubhagan 05:47, 13 July 2006 (UTC)
- I think it should be The Paparazzi because that's the name of them as a tag team.--Yugioh73036 19:15, 14 July 2006 (UTC)Yugioh73036
- Or how about the article being kept as Paparazzi Productions and have it say that it is the kayfabe company of Alex Shelley, and that the members of Paparazzi Productions are known as The Paparazzi? --Dubhagan 02:47, 15 July 2006 (UTC)
- You are a genius. I never would have thought of that.--Yugioh73036 06:27, 15 July 2006 (UTC)Yugioh73036

Should Kevin Nash be noted as a member of this group?
- He's more of an ally than a member. --Dubhagan 22:54, 26 July 2006 (UTC)
- On the iMPACT! preview 4 August 10 they are in a 6-man tag match and referred to as the Paparazzi. So is Nash a member then?Yugioh73036 02:05, 11 August 2006 (UTC)Yugioh73036
Kevin Nash = X-Division?
Should Kevin Nash be moved to X-Division performer? He technically has only competed inthat division since his returnand aspart of the angle has spoken aboutbecoming X-Division champion. While it is true that he isn't exactly what was envisioned with the phrase "Not about weight limits, it's about no limits," but he is technically, right now, X-Division. --70.242.144.107 06:35, 23 July 2006 (UTC)
Bentley and Kazarian
Their tag team name is the Mavericks, if you would watch last weeks impact closely they were refered to as the Mavericks. --Tommyspud 00:16, 26 July 2006 (UTC)
Scott D'Amore
D'Amore is still a booker so he's under backstage personnel now. --James Duggan 23:39, 14 August 2006 (UTC)
Nicknames Not Required
Not all of them have to be listed and if you put them back up I'll just delete them again except the ones that are included in the name like for ex: Ron "The Truth" Killings.
- You are wrong, those nicknames are part of their ring names, meaning they stay. We list FULL ring names on this page, and if that ring names includes a nickname, then they are to be included. Realize one thing, this was agreed upon by Wikipedia:WikiProject Professional wrestling. THIS IS NOT YOUR PAGE. This type of stuff is agreed upon by concensus. Please read Wikipedia:What Wikipedia is not#What the Wikipedia community is not for more. Threatening to continue deleting them will get your IP address blocked, as it is considered vandalism. --James Duggan 02:44, 1 September 2006 (UTC)
It's not you page either, OK. No they're actually not, atleast it's never been stated, so I'll delete them if I don't see more proof of this in the next few days. It is not agreed upon, I read that whole thing and it does not make that agreement. Again it say nothing in the other article. It is not vandalism when I am just making the page short and simple and not filling it with junk and spam. So by the end of the week or so If I don't see more proof that I can't do what I'm doing I will fix it. So don't try to "block" my IP yet because all I want is proof that I can't do this and you actually have the means to get my IP blocked.
- No, it's not my page, but it's not yours either, it's Wikipedia's page, and content on pages are agreed to by consensus. Please read Wikipedia's policies and guidlines. What you should do is engage in discussion on the talk page before you decide anything. The format of this page has been agreed upon by all users involved, you can't just come in and make major changes like that, because if you do, you're likely to be reverted for vandalism. --James Duggan 21:45, 5 September 2006 (UTC)
This page used to contain more nicknames, like "The Samoan Submission Machine" for Samoa Joe and "King of the Mountain" for Jarrett, and a few others, but I went through and got rid of the ones that weren't part of the nickname. The one's that are there now are part of the ring name (eg. Chris Harris is announced as and is listed on the roster page as "Wildcat" Chris Harris). It would be like only listing "Hacksaw" Jim Duggan as Jim Duggan, even though his ring name is "Hacksaw" Jim Duggan. Oh, and don't just look at the roster page on TNA's website, click on the actual profiles and I'm sure you'll see what I mean. James Duggan 21:50, 5 September 2006 (UTC)
Well that's fine, I'll use that to help in my editing because some nicknames aren't required or odn't even exist. Ex:"Maverick" Matt Bentley That is not even his nickname.
- Yes it is, he's announced as "Maverick" Matt. TNA's website has yet to be updated. James Duggan 00:41, 9 September 2006 (UTC)
Ok, I'll fix that, should I fix Abyss also.
- Yeah, he's announced as "The Monster" Abyss, so I'd add it back. James Duggan 00:45, 9 September 2006 (UTC)
I fixed everything I just edited, I'll just let you have the TNA Roster how you want it.
- Like I said before, it was agreed upon by everyone in Wikipedia:WikiProject Professional wrestling. It's not just me. James Duggan 00:50, 9 September 2006 (UTC)
Truth and Hoyt
Are they in a stable? They have been competing together since No Surrender.Freebird Jackson 16:54, 15 October 2006 (UTC)
- I inserted them a few weeks back, but they were insistently taken down. I personally think they should be listed as a stable, but whatever. Sevenzeroone says: Poopy is not fun! 23:38, 20 October 2006 (UTC)
Angle listed as Inactive?
He appeared on Impact last night, against Samoa Joe, are you ating for an "Official" match before adding, because calling him inactive after an in ring apperance doesn't seem right to me. Cosmic Larva 13:05, 20 October 2006 (UTC)
- Angle has yet to wrestle, that's why he is inactive. After Bound for Glory: he will still be inactive, since he is just the referee. But I'm sure people will change him to the regular roster, leading to reverts once again. RobJ1981 18:02, 20 October 2006 (UTC)
- Appearing in a non-wrestling role and being inactive are two totally different things. He's on TV, but not wrestling, making him a Non-wrestling Performer for now. --James Duggan 04:51, 5 November 2006 (UTC)
James Gang
They said on this weeks Impact that we wouldn't be seeing them for a while. Shouldn't the be inactive then? --James Duggan 04:55, 5 November 2006 (UTC)
- They probably should be under inactive until further notice. From what I've read, they are taking a break and returning later on. So a note for inactive should be "kayfabe: quit" or something similar. RobJ1981 05:10, 5 November 2006 (UTC)
Norman Smiley and Shark Boy haven't teamed for a bit, they shouldn't be listed as a team
Norman Smiley+Shark Boy haven't teamed for over a month: they certainly shouldn't be listed as a team. Anytime I change it, it gets reverted back. This is a list of active roster, not people that haven't teamed for a while. Shark Boy ran in to help Norman a few weeks ago on Impact: but that's certainly not enough to justify them being a team still. The last time they teamed was in September. It's now November. At the most recent Impact tapings (November 6): 2 weeks of Impact were taped, and Norman+Shark didn't team. It's about time we leave them off the list until they actually team again. RobJ1981 23:59, 7 November 2006 (UTC)
Mack Brothers
What happened to the Mack Brothers, Kirby and TJ, are they still signed with TNA? Tim Long 01:34, 18 November 2006 (UTC)
- I don't think they were ever under contract with TNA, just brought in as Jobbers. --James Duggan 23:02, 18 November 2006 (UTC)
Alphabetical order of Stables/Tag Teams
Do I need to remind everyone how we do the alphabetical order here? Sure, we list wrestlers by last name, but with stables, there is no first/last name issue. We use the first letter of the stable name, the only exception is that we leave out the word "The" if it occurs at the beginning of the stable name. For instances where there is no stable name, we put the member names in alphabetical order by last name, and we use the last name of the first person in said order to determine where to place it. Here's how it's supposed to be, with the corresponding letter of the alphabet in brackets:
- AMW (A)
- DITR (D)
- Dutt & Lethal (D)
- Hoyt & Killings (H)
- LAX (L)
- The Movement (M)
- The Naturals (N)
- The Paparazzi (P)
- Team 3D (T)
- Voodoo Kin Mafia (V)
So I repeat, Stable names don't have last names, only people.--James Duggan 01:59, 20 November 2006 (UTC)
- I don't remember seeing anything that said that was the "right" way to do it. Just because you think it's the right way: don't necessarily mean it's the proper way. Stable names do have last names, period. Why should the regular roster be by last name, and not the stables? They clearly have last names. RobJ1981 02:04, 20 November 2006 (UTC)
- Dude, it's the same reason Samoa Joe is listed under (S), not (J), because Joe is not a last name, just like Wanted is not a last name. James Duggan 02:05, 20 November 2006 (UTC)
- Stop trying to control the article. Last name is last name: period. Wanted is the last weird in the name, hence... it should be under W. You say see the talk page, but you just revert it back either way anyway... isn't that a bit hypocritical? Be open to change. RobJ1981 02:09, 20 November 2006 (UTC)
- Dude, it's the same reason Samoa Joe is listed under (S), not (J), because Joe is not a last name, just like Wanted is not a last name. James Duggan 02:05, 20 November 2006 (UTC)
- Dude, look at the alphabetical listing here. The way I'm talking about is the way it's always been for the exact same reasons I've given above. We have historically only used the last name rule for names that were proper names. --James Duggan 02:14, 20 November 2006 (UTC)
- Things can change, they don't have to be the same way. I don't want to read things like "the way it's always been". Some stables are several words: that's not just one long name, so the last word is what it should be by. I think I may need to request protection on this and WWE roster, due to these issues. I'm sicking of reverting, and a concrete way should be agreed on. All sections should be in the same format: period. RobJ1981 02:19, 20 November 2006 (UTC)

- Then making a major change like that should have been brought up to the WikiProject first for proper debate. I know Wikipedia says to be bold, but sometimes when it involves things that have become standard, bold changes can piss a bunch of people off, especially where a WikiProject is involved. Better safe than sorry I say. James Duggan 02:24, 20 November 2006 (UTC)
Diamonds in the rough
Isn't this team dead? --205.151.6.33 17:20, 12 December 2006 (UTC)
- Considering TNA didn't follow up with the apparent dissention in their last match, we're not sure. We'll have to see when they are on TV again. --James Duggan 19:10, 12 December 2006 (UTC)
The team got released about a week ago, If you guy can, please remove the stable members from the TNA roster list and put them on the alummi list, Thank you. Dro Boy Feb 22, 2007
Tomko as wrestler
He has a match scheduled for iMPACT! against Abyss, so can we list him under Heavyweight division? He's under Non-wrestling performers now, and I don't want to move him without y'alls input.Freebird Jackson 15:52, 9 January 2007 (UTC)
- When it happens, then yes, we can move him. --James Duggan 17:48, 9 January 2007 (UTC)
---It happened, Tomko vs Abyss was the main event of the 1-10-07 episode of iMPACT!---
So Many Inaccuracies
Why is it only some wrestlers have their nicknames, smart people would put them on all or not at all. There also seems that people use the wrong words like "mouthpeace" for Konnan, if he were the mouthpiece he wouldn't be at ringside MANAGING LAX, also since he is back and on TV it seems like the bit about his medicial problems isn't needed. Also with The Naturals seemed alive and well on the past iMPACT after Abyss squashed Chase Stevens. Gail Kim is in no way Petey Williams' valet, like really guys, why is this so innacurate? I tried to fix it but people keep changing it back for no reason.
- The inclusion of a nickname depends on if it is part of the ring name, not all nicknames are part of ring names. Of course, it doesn't matter to me if they are included or not. --James Duggan 00:34, 19 March 2007 (UTC)
James Copeland
Who the Hell is James Copeland? His name is listed in the X-Division roster, but it links to a long dead outlaw. --HDC7777 15:30, 17 March 2007 (UTC)
The Big Show
Has anyone heard if the big show has signed with TNA? He was released on march 26th.
Gail Kim, Christy Hemme
Gail Kin is NOT the valet of Petey Williams and Christy Hemme was not the host of the Black and Blue Carpet it was Leticia.
Abyss is inactive
At tnawrestlingnews.com it states that Abyss is going to be pulled off air for a while, and it says the same thing on the TNA Website, with the newest column on him. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Tommyspud (talk • contribs) 13:06, 2 May 2007 (UTC).
Oh, and I changed it, I think it's extended leave, but I don't know the exact details, so change it if you need to. Tommyspud 13:09, 2 May 2007 (UTC)
- Should probably be listed as kayfabe injury. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 63.3.22.129 (talk) 18:56, 2 May 2007 (UTC).
The Basham Brothers
They have not been officaly announced yet so they should be listed as inactive or just wait for them to debut and Hemme shouldn't be listed as their valet becuase of reasons stated above.
- Again, I repeat, no Bashams untill they are announced. It is considered spoilers and they haven't been announced yet. Patience is a virture my friends. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 63.3.22.129 (talk) 18:07, 5 May 2007 (UTC).
Changes to Raven
Raven has been changed to the manager position, as the 'Manager of Serotonin'. Remember, that a manager does not nessecarily come down with his team. Raven has not wrestled for a bit, so I thought the change was nessecary. Tommyspud 17:54, 4 May 2007 (UTC)
Ricky Banderas
Like The Bashams he is considered a spoiler.
Flags
WWE page has them. Naturally, this page should too. Njgio 18:17, 14 May 2007 (UTC)
- The majority of wrestling roster pages do not have flags. The essay WP:Flagcruft advises against the mass usage of flag icons. There is no consensus as to whether they should be included in the article; please stop re-inserting them without securing one, and providing arguments in favour of them. McPhail 18:23, 14 May 2007 (UTC)
I just don't understand why WWE should have them and TNA should not. Either they should be removed from both or included on both. I don't care which. "advises against the mass use of flag icons" that's obviously something that's going to be disagreed upon by various different people. As I've said, I don't care if they stay or go, as long as it matches the WWE page. Njgio 18:27, 14 May 2007 (UTC)
- The WWE roster page did not have flags several months ago. The Ring of Honor roster page did not have flags until you added them without any preliminary discussion. The onus is on you to secure a consensus when dramatically altering articles, yet you have failed to take any such action. In general, it is considered good etiquette to discuss large scope edits to professional wrestling articles at WP:PW first. McPhail 18:31, 14 May 2007 (UTC)
I have never edited the ROH page. This is the first time i've ever added flags to a page, and I did so because of the WWE page. Njgio 18:33, 14 May 2007 (UTC)
Nicknames
TNA is known for their heavy use of their nicknames. For example, Abyss and Rhino are constantly referred to as "The Monster" and "The War Machine", respectively. Now that they're all added, either leave them, or suggest why they should be removed. Njgio 18:20, 14 May 2007 (UTC)
- I actually think we should just get rid of the nicknames, like the WWE page I think it looks way more professional and easier to read. Yes TNA calls them that but most it really doesn't matter.
Tiger Mask IV
He was confirmed for the iMPACT tapings, and he wrestled for the Sacrifice PPV, so I have added him to the roster.
- Yeah it's just part of the talent exchange between TNA & NJPW. He's not on the actual roster.
Someone add a new section for the talent exchange, since this could very well be the start of NJPW stars in TNA. Tommyspud 01:24, 17 May 2007 (UTC)
Damaja & Basham
VERY small thing, could easily change, but as of now, the team of Doug Basham and Dan Hollie is called "Damaja & Basham", since hey were announced as such at Sacrifice. They're still listed individually alphabetically afterwards. This is the correct way right now. Njgio 01:17, 19 May 2007 (UTC)
- TNA bills them as Basham & Damaja, nevertheless.
They don't. Njgio 04:55, 20 May 2007 (UTC)
- TNA lists him as "The Damaja" officially. MC511 21:21, 30 June 2007 (UTC)
Why the constant changes
Mr. Backlund shouldn't be listed as occasional appearances because hes on the show EVERY week. Also, Nash is not the manager of Jay Lethal, theyre more buddys. And for the nicknames it makes the page harder to read especially the longer ones (glares at Samoa Joe), it would look much better without them.
Glen Gilberti & Don Harris
I made several changes today, including removing Glen Gilberti and Don Harris from the staff section. Glen Gilberti has not worked in any backstage capacity for TNA Wrestling since late last year. Finally, I removed Don Harris, as he officially left TNA Wrestling a few weeks prior to Lockdown in April of this year. TNAWrestling 21:07, 13 June 2007 (UTC)
The Naturals
Although Andy Douglas and Chase Stevens do not have contracts with TNA Wrestling, they still will be appearing at TNA Live Events, starting with the April 15th live event in Sheffield, Alabama. Therefore, I added them to the inactive list. TNAWrestling 21:14, 13 June 2007 (UTC)
Sharky and Runt
Why are Shark Boy and Runt on the alumini and not on the roster page...I can't find ANYTHING...ANYWHERE that confirms this... Chris2038win 06:59, 28 July 2007 (UTC)
Kishi and Giant Bernard
There have been NO official reports confirming that TNA Wrestling signed either Kishi or Giant Bernard, so until there is some kind of confirmation they should not be on the TNA roster page. TNAWrestling 02:01, 10 August 2007 (UTC)
Jackie Gayda
has she left the company? if so it needs to be added to her artical as nothing is mentioned. Skitzo, co-founder of the AfTaDaRkCrU 00:08, 18 August 2007 (UTC)
They released her a while ago, she is apparently a full time mom right now. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Riseagainstowns (talk • contribs) 21:07, 3 September 2007 (UTC)
Jackie is returning soon as James Storms valet.Username:SeanMorleyRoxs —Preceding unsigned comment added by SeanMorleyRoxs (talk • contribs) 08:05, 10 November 2007 (UTC)
Roxy
TNA has started billing her as Roxxi instead of Roxy again. So I'm going to change it for now. They can't seem to make up their mind so it might change again. If I'm wrong correct me but on TNAwrestling.com and iMPACT she is being billed as Roxxi so I'm goingh to change it. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Riseagainstowns (talk • contribs) 19:30, 29 September 2007 (UTC)
TNA Women
Where are all the new TNA women talent like Jazz, The Amazon Kong, Angel Williams, ODB and Shelly Martinez? Don't you think they should be included on the roster since they have all signed a contract and Junior Phatu hasn't —Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.139.193.234 (talk) 17:05, 30 September 2007 (UTC)
- TNA Wrestling has only confirmed Amazing Kong has signed a contract with the promotion. Wrestling websites reported Jazz signed a contract. There has been nothing reported that Angel Williams, ODB, Talia Madison, or Shelley Martinez have signed with the promotion. Although it is believed that Shelley Martinez was signed and held off the Impact tapings, in order to debut her new gimmick at Bound for Glory. TNAWrestling 16:44, 2 October 2007 (UTC)
Yesit has been reported via TNA mobile instant text messaging. All those women will compete at Bound for Glory, and all of them have been signed till at least then, so they should be on this list!
- We know that it was reported via TNA Mobile that Amazing Kong, Angel Williams, ODB, Talia Madison, and Shelley Martinez would be appearing at Bound for Glory ... However, TNA Wrestling has not confirmed they have signed anyone other then Amazing Kong right now. TNAWrestling 23:05, 6 October 2007 (UTC)
Well they've confirmed that they've signed Talia Madison! —Preceding unsigned comment added by Bloberto (talk • contribs) 18:35, 8 October 2007 (UTC)
- Talia Madison and Angel Williams both appeared on TNA Today, however I do not remember them saying that either signed a contract with TNA Wrestling. TNAWrestling 16:23, 9 October 2007 (UTC)
Jazz
TNA has not reported that she has signed a contractMATT 22:33, 3 October 2007 (UTC)
Yes, they have! —Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.138.229.94 (talk) 19:19, 4 October 2007 (UTC)
Where is the source? MATT 13:10, 5 October 2007 (UTC)
It happened at least 2 weeks ago now, the source is gone. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.138.229.94 (talk) 23:24, 5 October 2007 (UTC)
how can it be gone? tna just decided to take down the fact that she signed a contract. MATT 14:32, 6 October 2007 (UTC)
Yes, so that it's a surprise when she appears at Bound for Glory - duh! —Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.138.229.94 (talk) 17:32, 6 October 2007 (UTC)
two things first sign your comments by placing this ~ 20:59, 6 October 2007 (UTC)) after your done and second when if she debuts at Bound for Glory then we can put her on the list MATT 20:59, 6 October 2007 (UTC)
- There has been some confusion over if TNA Wrestling signed Jazz. It was first reported by Mike Johnson and PWInsider.com that TNA Wrestling had signed Jazz, and then the post was removed and Mike Johnson claimed he never reported Jazz signing with TNA Wrestling. TNA Wrestling has never once announced they signed Jazz. So until she appears at a TNA Wrestling event, there is NO reason to put her on the TNA Roster list. TNAWrestling 23:10, 6 October 2007 (UTC)
When PWInsider makes a mistake, they post a bulletin explaining their mistake. Since they didn't do this this time, this is not a mistake. Jazz was signed by TNA at least 3 weeks ago I guarantee you, and she should be on the inactive list —Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.138.229.94 (talk) 12:44, 7 October 2007 (UTC)
- I disagree, until it is confirmed by TNA Wrestling or until she shows up on a TNA Wrestling program, she should NOT be added to the TNA Wrestling roster. TNAWrestling 16:50, 7 October 2007 (UTC)
She's obviously signed with the company, so I don't see any reason to exclude her from the inactive roster. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.140.217.136 (talk) 16:59, 8 October 2007 (UTC)
Even if she has TNA has not annouced it so as TNAWrestling said until TNA confims it or she appears on a TNA program she will not be added MATT 20:21, 8 October 2007 (UTC)
I don't see why that should be. Judas Messias was on the roster list way before he appeared or TNA announced he had signed.--Bloberto 17:28, 9 October 2007 (UTC)
TNA had annouced it through the mobile service —Preceding unsigned comment added by S-pac54 (talk • contribs) 20:19, 9 October 2007 (UTC)
Amazing Kong
TNA Wrestling announced via TNA Mobile that Amazing Kong signed an official TNA Wrestling contract. It was also announced that she would make her debut on the October 11th TNA Impact (tomorrow night). PLEASE stop removing her from the TNA Roster. TNAFan80 17:35, 10 October 2007 (UTC)
Mike Tenay and Don West
Why aren't they listed under other on-air talent like their wwe counterparts? MATT 01:39, 11 October 2007 (UTC)
Roster notes
Couple of things that I think need to be talked about. Joey Matthews and Johnny Swinger have not appeared on TV yet and have not been announced by TNA so they should probably go into inactive talent. Also, Mark Johnson is not back with TNA, he is out of the business and he was there to help out. TNA has used Glamour Boy Shane the past two iMPACT tapings but untill he works more and shows he is a permanet ref I don't think he should be added. Correct me if I am wrong. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Riseagainstowns (talk • contribs) 19:24, 21 October 2007 (UTC)
- Personally, I don’t believe Johnny Swinger or Joey Matthews (although it was reported by PWInsider.com, but not confirmed that TNA Wrestling had signed him.) should appear on the inactive talent list just because they worked a dark match. Earlier this year, Jason & Johnny Riggs worked dark matches before a majority of pay per views and Impact tapings, but nothing ever came of it. I agree with you that neither Marc Johnson (lives in Atlanta, and worked the show because of it’s location) and Glamour Boy Shane should be added. I’m not sure if it has been noted or not, but during a NWA Anarchy event this weekend TNA Wrestling staff member Bill Behrens announced that Austin Creed, who teamed with Ron Killings as "Rasheed Lucius Creed" at Bound for Glory has been given a TNA contract. TNAFan80 18:20, 22 October 2007 (UTC)
- Another thing, Disco Inferno seems to be a one off thing. Stop re-adding him as D'Lo Brown is not returning he was a road agent for the past tapings and nothing more. Serious, research people. Oh and Junior Fatu is done with TNA according to Mike Johnson so he should be gone also. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Riseagainstowns (talk • contribs) 21:02, 30 October 2007 (UTC)
Kong before Brooks?
Where did we all get our education?! Why is Awesome Kong listed above Traci Brooks? Everyone on the roster list is listed by the last name they use, shouldn’t Awesome Kong be listed after Gail Kim? TNAFan80 18:01, 31 October 2007 (UTC)
Scott Hall & ODB
During Impact tonight, TNA Wrestling officially announced Scott Hall would return next week on Impact. Also during Impact tonight, Mike Tenay announced ODB would be one of three challengers for Gail Kim’s Women’s Championship at Genesis. I added Scott Hall to the Inactive List until his debut, and I added ODB to the Women’s Roster, since she has already debuted for TNA Wrestling.TNAFan80 03:47, 2 November 2007 (UTC)
Say it with me … “Awesome” and “Kong”
GUYS SHE HAS TWO NAMES, SHE DOES NOT GO BY AWESOME, SHE GOES BY AWESOME KONG. THEREFORE SHE SHOULD BE PLACED UNDER GAIL KIM. TNAFan80 03:48, 2 November 2007 (UTC)
it's a ring name her 1st name isn't Awesome her surname isn't Kong, it's all 1 name, just like Samoa Joe. Skitzo 10:49, 2 November 2007 (UTC)
Stop adding D'Lo Brown
If he debuts he will debut. There has been no thought to the fact he will be "returning soon". They let him be a road agent, that was it. Be smart people. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Riseagainstowns (talk • contribs) 18:37, 6 November 2007 (UTC)
Changes concerning Senshi, Scott Hall
Senshi: no Official word has come out concerning his status in the company. Yes yes, I know the "news" floating around that he was granted his release. Fact is, it's not verified. Hall: again, no news about it. The fact that he missed an event does not mean he's done with the company. It happens loads. IMO, 2 days is not long enough to determine whether or not he's done. Hezekiah957 18:43, 4 December 2007 (UTC)
- "Official" is not the threshold, reliable is. That's the main reason why "professional wrestling" is so difficult to cover reliably: There's much hearsay and fan speculation, little reliable news coverage, and many "offical statements" are issued as part of the narrative rather than straightforward facts. In other words: This of all topics is certainly nothing to split hairs or lose your cool over. I dorftrottel I talk I 17:18, December 10, 2007
